Following the disappointing end to the 2004 season, a breathless playoff defeat at home to the Minnesota Vikings, the owners of the Green Bay Packers stripped head coach Mike Sherman of his GM title.

They handed the role to a 17 year-old English whiz-kid, Jon Bernstein. a.k.a finsnchips.

At the press conference Bernstein stated that “The team is not in a bad way. We need to bring in savvy veterans and high impact rookies in order to give Brett Favre a chance to get a Super Bowl ring in his final season.â€Â
