Greenberg is an idiot!!

FWIW Ireland is very respected around the league and if he was ever fired he'd get picked up real quick. As for the whole Dez Bryant issue, did you ever notice how PFT and how like 2 talk shows made that an issue? A lot of coaches and players (both former and current) just shrugged off that question saying that that was actually a very tame question in the private interviews.

As for Ross, he's made mistakes but he's far from hated.

I see you picked sections you liked and commented on them. How about the part where Ross hangs Sparano out to dry by OPENLY courting Harbaugh? And Ireland boards the plane with him no less? Or the comments directed at Fisher during Philbins presser? Or even that they dont want to deal with Fisher simply because of butthurt? No you failed to mention these because they make Ross look like a clown at best, and an ***hole at worst. No, Peyton wouldnt would mind playing for an owner that wanted a QB as good as Marino, but I wonder what he thinks of some of the actions mentioned above.

I'm done here. If you wont acknowledge that negative comments have been said about Ireland, publicly no less, then this conversation is over. Instead, I'll play along and join you in burying your head in the sand, and we can sing kumbaya while Irelands managing and interview styles continue to receive glowing praise... and we continue to pile up winning season after winning season with his personnel.

Ooooook there buddy. I've pretty much addressed everything you talked about. I am the one that brought up Dez Bryant and Sparano/Harbaugh. That means I believe they were mistakes, though I don't think Dez Bryant's situation is as bad as you are making it out to be. Where we mainly have a disconnect is you dwell on it and think it could be a deal breaker whereas I do not. They were mistakes, and their impact on the Peyton situation will be insignificant if there is an impact at all. I'm not here to rehash every single mistake or success that Ireland and Ross have done. That's just too tedious. I'm simply here saying that I don't think it's fair to assume that Ross' and Ireland's reputation here, on this board, is the same as their reputation around the league. At the same time, I've argued against your points about Fisher, Ryan Clark, Gator Day, Crowder, Henne-Marino, and not finding a QB. I've addressed plenty. The deal is I am not agreeing with you and I see them as weak arguments and you gotta throw a tantrum about it. You want me to address Ross' comments about Fisher? I don't really care what Ross said about Fisher. I didn't want Fisher to begin with and Fisher taking all the time he took to reject the Dolphins, I'm glad Ross took a stand. Shoot, all he said was out of all the candidates, there was one that didn't want to come here. I don't think it was that bad, maybe a tad bit unprofessional, but is that a black mark on this franchise? No.

And when I asked "what negative comments," that was a legit question. I'm not saying there are none. I am just not going to argue against a generalization such as, "we've heard negative comments." As for the rest, it's pretty childish rantings of you trying to demean my opinion. I don't really know what to say about it, don't really care to, other than to point out that I think that they're childish rants that are either desperate, or delusional, because I have addressed pretty much everything you have tried to point out.

Agreed, that is too tedious, and thats the problem. I honestly cannot recall any other front office in sports with so many public missteps in such a short amount of time.

Are you suggesting that the bumblings of these 2, which even you admitted above were plentiful, have gone unnoticed around the league, only discussed by finheaven forum members?

Your opinion of Fisher is irrelevent to the point. Ross acted childish and petty, and this really isnt even debatable. Bringing up another candidate who he openly courted, only to be turned down, is completely unnecessary and makes him look almost as bad as when he courted a HC while having one already in place..as I've mentioned, yet another public misstep.

I dont know what you're saying here. You agree that specific negative comments were said, then pass them off as generalizations. The rest of this stuff, the "childish rants" stuff, is completely ridiculous and condescending and lends nothing to the discussion. I'll leave you to discuss that with yourself.

Oh wow. Notice I said mistakes and SUCCESSES. I'm not going to argue every single issue, in the Ireland/Ross era, POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE.

I did not say anything about anything being plentiful. Nice try tho.

Fisher? Agree to disagree. I don't think it'll impact Peyton. You do. I got it.

And I was the condescending one?...

I'm a Dolphins homer too, but Im not pretending everything has been hunky dory in Davie.

And wow, you quickly dismissed the Dez Bryant thing.

You got pretty damn pretentious in my eyes in your resorting to assumptions, false accusations and insinuations, and attempts at discrediting my opinion. I tried to keep the discussion pertinent to Steve Ross, Jeff Ireland, NFL reputations, the Dolphins, and Peyton Manning. You can see here that you kept taking this conversation elsewhere. Peace.

Saying Greeny is an idiot is like saying water is wet, the sky is blue, or mud is dirty.

How Greenberg rose to the level of success he's had is beyond me. There are far more talented morning drive guys in smaller markets that are far more talented than this clown. It's embarrassing.

I can think of a few reasons, but this is a family site if you catch my drift.
