Greenway and Roth

Of course Roth benifited from playing on one of the best defenses in the nation. They couldn't just focus on him.

That dosen't mean he isn't good, but being a part of a top college D dosn't make you a probowler.

No way ... Have you seen the tribute video for Matt Roth that was posted a few weeks ago? Roth is a monster at 275 lbs. which is huge for a college DE and he flat out overpowered most of the offensive linemen he faced. He fires off the line like a beast, pushes the OL back a few steps, then does a quick spin move to get to his lunch.

if Greenway is good the answer is of course. The reason for that is FOOTBALL IS A TEAM GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can we just stop these posting's about Roth for wee lil bit until he plays his first pre-season game maybe???

It's possible. In retrospect, a lot of people could say that Courtney Brown was made to look good by Lavar Arrington.

JT can help him out now and he can smash Tom Brady into oblivion.......and Loserman..........and chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!

How happy would you all be if Greenway & Roth reunite again. Go Dolphins 2006.

WHO SAID HE WAS A PROBOWLER ?

If he did, then he has JT to help him now.

No, but being a wild animal that happens to also be a very good athlete, with a never say die attitude, all that he needs to prove is can he handle the mental aspect of the game, if he does, he is a probowler.

Chad Greenway is on most peoples big board as a legit top ten pick next year. Miami sadly to say will be in that range. LB will be a heavily sought after position, Miami's defense will be based on outsatnding LB play soon enough, with all those things added up, Greenway could easily be a Dolphin. His strengths cover our LB weaknesses. He has great coverage skills from the position, speed off the edge and adequate blitzing skills. We got one of the ILB in Crowder already (to run 3/4 D), Roth has to be more refined in dropping back, and probably early in his career will be used as a situational or designated blitzer in the 3/4.

What do you guys think? Our next option is probably Ahmad Brooks, ILB. I wouldn't have a problem with Brooks because he's reckless, however, Greenway's value to a developing 3/4 team is invaluable, in that he can cover from the backfield and up the seam.

Hope so, it would be good to have 2 productive ends again. Especially since we're a bit thin on the ground at cornerback.
