all the talk for wrs this off season seems to be about ginn bess and turner how do you think Camarillo's season coming back from his injury will be before he got hurt he led the team in receptions and was second in yards

everyones stats after his last game

Camarillo - rec 55 - yards 613 - tds 2
ginn - rec 43 - yards 685 - tds 1
bess - rec 24 - yards 275 - tds 1
fasano - rec 22 - yards 305 - tds 3

Camarillo was the guy you would pretty much trust no matter what. I remember against the Patriots there was a play where the pass was tipped and it was up for grabs and Greg came out of nowhere and snagged it, I'm pretty sure it would have been an easy pick if he weren't there for it

Pretty much the same as last season all the talk was of Ginn, Wilford and Bess. Yet Camarillo was the one who came out of no-where during TC and grapped a starting spot. This year the competition should be alot more fierce with the additions of Turner and Hartline, not forgetting that Bess will be trying to build on a steller rookie season.

Because of the expected level of competition at WR, Cam will have alot of work on his hands to fight off the other guys from taking a starting spot and thats coming of the back of a serious knee injury. What will strenghten Cams case however is that last season, as you pointed out, he was our top reciever before he went down.

But we will have to wait untill the end of TC before we will know who graps the 2nd WR job.

I hope that Bess and Cam both do really well because that will give us a trade opportunity for someone or some pretty good pick. Both players have basically the same role so it would be good if we could get rid of one for something good.

Why would you want to trade your most reliable receivers???

The year after knee surgery nobody does well. Not sure why everybody is expecting Cam to be any different. He'll probably be average this year. If we expect anything from him we should be looking to NEXT year.

Fasano's numbers are totally off. But I expect Cam to be a top 3 WR on this team unless he is traded.

Agreed; However, I cant shake the feeling that Camarillo and Bess are the same type of player. They are essentially built the same and they play the same (except Cam is an inch or two taller). I do think that Camarillo played his heart out last year but Bess has come a LONG way since last season and is now 2x better. Though Cam's loss to injury was devistating (I think he would of helped us beat Balti.) it did help Bess step up his game. This offseason they both looked good but Bess looks crisp, quick, and agile. Having Ginn, Bess, and Turner as the starting three is a good mix of agility, speed, and size but the starting 3 at season start will no doubt be Ginn, Camarillo, Bess. I hope someone either Camarillo, Turner, Hartline, or Armstrong steps up and lights up that third vacant WR spot because Bess and Ginn need a good complimentary player that makes them better. What we had last year after loosing Cam was, simply put, average.

This. Despite the fact that Ronnie looked pretty good a year back from knee surgery, generally it takes two for WR's and RB's.

He does have that knack to be open at the most crucial times, and even though I saw that also in Bess, Cam seems to be the best at it since Crash.

A team that has an extremly reliable receiver that comes through on 3rd down, is very tough to slow down, let alone stop.

having a camarillo as a 3rd receiver isnt a bad thing, he knows how to get open i just hope he didnt lose the little speed he has with his knee injury, I think Davone Bess once he was more Featured in the offense made more plays after the catch than camarillo did but im liking the way the receiving core is turning out =) the hartline pick is very confusing because he seems to be a clone of camarillo but i dont think that Ginn, Bess, Camarillo, Turner, and Hartline is a bad group to have im hopeing to see 5 receiver sets this year... i cant wait to see who pennington looks for now that he knows 3 of his toys a little better

Id be suprised if he had more than half of his total receptions last year, and more than 300 yards....

I think this guy loves being slept on... no one expects much of him and he just goes out there and does his job perfectly.. We dont have a great Wr but I feel our group is very strong.
