Some might look at this leak of information on how the owner is feeling about his hc
as karma, considering Cote made a point to suggest his "source" has been accurate in the past.

So the hc plays mind games with Tannehill this week and now the owner decides to play tit for tat
By allowing a "leak" to cote thus in some way putting Joe on notice.


At this point it seems like a game of chicken, I want to see who blinks first.

Don't fool yourselves into thinking Ross won't fire Philbin immediately after a loss to the Raiders. Philbin has admitted he handled this situation with who's starting wrong, the team shows no emotion, is ill prepared and it would give the interim (undoubtedly Lazor) 2 weeks to regroup and go forward.

My gut tells me this may very well be Philbin's last game as the head coach.

It would be great if Phibin is fired after the game and then his replacement brings us to the playoffs. Its still early enough where that is possible.

He's done a lot of things the wrong way but I hesitate to call him clueless. 3 years ago he tried to hire the best young coach in the game and couldn't seal the deal because he made a couple of mistakes.

Maybe he won't make those mistakes this time around and he'll get the guy he needs.

If Miami gets Winston, expect a lot more negative press. pouncey would seem like mother mary compared to Winston. STAY AWAY

I have to believe Winston will fall like a rock in next year's draft. There's too much pressure on the league to deal more harshly with players that break the law and Winston is a huge gamble for any team that takes him. And given our recent history, I think there's zero chance it will be us.
