Fun interview with our senior wide out. Good discussion on Tannehill and Albert.

Talked about coach Philbin and why he's so excited ( to say the least) about our up coming season.

So many good additions between Greg, Cameron, Stills, and Parker. Either one could lead us in production. So hard to predict!

Thanks. I had found a few excerpts tweeted by Likens but hadn't taken the time to find the full interview yet. :brewskis:

Good problem to have. I'd say Landry gets the most targets but any of the other guys is capable of a big game . Coverage will probably determine who gets the most action so Cameron and even Sims may get lots of throws as well.

Should be fun

Did some people really want Michael Crabtree over this guy???

The most interesting thing I find in that interview was the talk of Philbin being laid back for as long as he has known him. So that means the first few years he was here in Miami he wasn't the same type of coach he was in the past.

As I said last night, Jennings will have a very productive season

I love Landry, but he could be the "move the chains" guy to begin with.

I'm fired up about this team too. I'm trying not to get carried away, but I don't remember ever having quite this level of talent at the skill positions. Marino generally had talent to work with at WR, but the running game was never there. And I never remember our WR group going 5 deep with a pro bowl capable TE. What Hickey has done is pretty damn amazing. Not too long ago it was Hartline and Bess. There was a time when Camarillo was our best WR. It really feels like we've come out of a long, dark tunnel.

I mean this in the positive sense, that it's up to Tannehill to take the time to find the best option for the pass in front of him. With Jennings, Parker, Stills, Cameron, Landry, Sims, Hazel and Matthews, SOMEONE WILL BE OPEN ON VIRTUALLY EVERY PLAY.

I want Ryan to find the best open guy, not the first open guy. Jennings could well be that guy more often than not.

Hickey is the man,i love him

Jennings sounds so passionate about the playing this year. I have to imagine that it's rubbing off in the WR room. Just look at the maturity from Matthews and the improvements from Hazel. This will be a fun year.

Great to hear his assesment of Philbin. I really do believe the death of his son had an impact on his personality. How could it not. Sounds like maybe he's healing and able to get back to the type of person he was. Who knows, we could be seeing a whole different outlook. I agree 100% with what Jennings said about players going the extra mile when they have a belief and closeness in the coach.

I don't know when those clips were filmed but they scared me to death when they were showing Albert. Hope that was his first practice back bc he looked very gimpy. Wow!!

This why i made a post yesterday about hoping tanny wouldnt get to locked in on landry like marino did with oj mcduffie. To dans credit, he didnt have a huge stable of strike at will skill players for most of the mcduffie years and no run game. He had to use short passes to mcduffie at times to get shorter, move the chains throws to oj using it as a run play.

But tanny has that now. The big time wr's in the nfl make plays even with a db on their back. They use their body to sheild them off and make the play. They also posess a big catch radius. The qb' get used to throwing to a player like that who is seemingly covered and tanny might still be int shy to throw that, namely to one Devante Parker who is that exact type of wr. It may be to much temptation to hit landry for 4 yds rather than trusting his play maker down field for 40 yds.

Hope not. We will see very soon.

I don't know about that. In Madden every time I throw Jennings way it gets picked! :(
