Greg Jennings on the Finsider show

I wanted him instead of Wallace in 2013.. Glad we finally fixed that wrong.

He's going to be great for our young core of receivers :brewskis:

I have no problem with Jennings on the team especially now knowing that he has FF's HS number. :)

I have my doubts we would have signed him if we knew Parker would fall to us. It will be interesting to see how WR's playing time is split, and how Lazor/Tannehill will spread the ball around with so many weapons.

I don't thing he'll put up the number's he did last year at Minn ( 59 catches 752 yards and 6 TD's ) but his veteran leadership will be critical to the development of Parker and even Stills and Landry should benefit greatly.

Jennings training our young wr group is purely freakn amazing. Man the talent we have at wr, the upside, the raw athleticism is something we have never ever had. The future has never looked this good. Man am I excited about this year..

Jennings will make some clutch grabs at times this year.

I wanted Wallace and was happy we got him. My mistake

Add in Cameron with a bit of Sims and I expect Miller and Ajayi will be running against 6 men in the box a lot.

Does Jennings add to or take away pressure on Parker to succeed this year?

I think it takes away some pressure. Parker will not be expect to get 1,000 yards with our committee of good receivers ... at least not this year . Parker will only be better with Jennings in the room. i see Jennings playing a lot early on then giving way to the youngsters as the season progresses.

Good point . i really don't see any downside to getting Jennings even if he does not light it up on the stats sheet.

You get nuggets of information in these various interviews and articles.

Jennings was brought into this Wr group to be a role model. To create the atmosphere
He immediately typecast Tannehill as a talent that lead quietly by example.

In other articles Hickey mentioned how the receivers weren't necessarily professional in the Wr sessions.

With all respect to Landry he isnt ready to be the leader.

Jennings is going to go in there and model how to behave in meetings and how to treat their QB. the production is just gravy.
Hartline was cut immediately and Wallace was shipped the moment we could get value for him.
The malcontents are gone. The dissenters are gone. The ship is going in one vision.
