Greg Knapp is a football coach and the current quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator for the Denver Broncos. There has been a rumor of Knapp linked to Gase for the OC job. Peyton Manning is a strong intellect of the game. Gase and Manning have a very strong relationship when it comes to an NFL offense. When Manning was under Gase his numbers sky rocketed and broke NFL records. What better teacher can Tannehill have with Manning as his QB's coach. Manning will most likely retire this season. There is a reason Gase hasn't hired an OC and this rumor actually has some ground to it.

It's statistical fact that hiring Greg Knapp as your team's offensive coordinator is about the easiest way to make your team's passing game less efficient. He's bizarro Gary Kubiak.

Hope this isn't true. My big concern about the Jim Mora rumor was that he'd bring Knapp, who has been a lousy OC.

Are you saying hire Manning as RT's QB coach?

Everyone was freaking out about the potential Mora hire because he always had Greg Knapp as OC...

If Knapp comes here as OC, it wouldn't be his system he would be implementing. It would be Gase's or some combination of both. With Gase calling the plays, I suspect it would be something Gase would be comfortable with.

Peyton will go straight to the booth when he is done.

Knapp would only be implementing the game plan during the week while Gase called the plays on Sunday. I don't think it will be as disastrous as you might think.

Gase has said he will call plays. So the OC doesn't actually do anything on gameday

Literally 0 percent chance that happens. Literally no way. What a stupid post.

He hates Tannehill

That figures. It's not even about Tannehill. Manning is done in Denver, whether through retirement or being cut. Elway isn't going to cut the only other decent QB on the roster. Seriously stupid post.
