Grier and McDaniel Still Have Jobs?

I was hoping (not really expecting knowing how Ross is) to have heard of the firing of at least one and maybe both of them. Crossman needs to go to. Make Darrel Bevell the interim head coach, please get rid of Lemuel Pierre (he's been here for all the bad offensive lines), and make Ronnie Bradford the special teams coach. I say make Nat Moore the interim GM.
Just to reinforce how ridiculous it is that folks think McD would be fired anytime soon- the quickest in season firing was 49ers coach Pete McCulley in 1978 after 9 games… so stop these dumb motherfu$kin threads until at least after week 9, OK…

Well for context, McDaniel was handed a team that had a winning record and then solidified with weapons like Hill, other top free agents like Armstead and his record was not much better than Flores with less talent.

Mike McDaniel is 21-18 - .538
Brian Flores was 24-25 - .490
That is with a tanking season and players being "injured", cutting players, etc. Let's see where he is at, end of year, probably the same, maybe worse.

What do you think his winning percentage will be by the end of this year? By the way Vrabel had his team as the #1 seed in the AFC with our castoff QB.

Sorry but context matters an he squeezed it out of that team, they were clearly not the #1 team in the AFC. This was actually answering another post but still. Vrabel is way better than McDaniel and would bring some toughness to this organization.

Y'all should recognize that Mr. Ross is 84 years old. It's possible he may be suffering mental comprehension issues and not be aware of the state of the Dolphins. I believe there is a good chance Grier and McDaniel are running the show and their priority is likely receiving their paychecks more so than the team's performance.
McMadden priority is getting people paid. Including himself. In that regard, well done man. What a fraud. We all knew it too. The jokey jokey pressers, the in season Hard Knocks where he is buddy buddy. Running off the field with the idiotic dorsal fin. The team TD celebrations choreographed. Are you kidding me on this? None of this will last in this league. McMadden Commands zero respect. See Tomlin on this who consistently has quality teams and the respect required.

Joke franchise and imposter coach, led by a failed GM and an incompetent owner.

I went delving into my comment archives on this board and found my rants about Grier (and other red flags) from 2020-21 that aged really well considering the state of things today. I wish gut feelings about this goofball franchise didn’t come true, but sadly, they do.

Correct. Meanwhile in New Orleans Jeff Ireland has positioned himself nicely to take over for Mickey Loomis with the good work he's done over there.

Good for Jeff, he was never as bad as most Dolfans would have you believe. He was like the anti-Tua.

Or maybe the stupid talking heads you guys call journalist ask difficult ****ing question for a change :

Mike after making fun of us in the preseason is it time to be worried about this team lack of quality line play being last in the league in every mother ****ing category

What’s this have to do with firing McD? Yea I agree with you on some points… but 2019 is now 5 years ago and he basically sh1t the bed leading to his firing…

Grier will be here years from now. Locked in. Mcd? Unfortunately, will be here a year or two more.
Hey F, I agree, Tua and Mc Deadfish ( I really should not joke about him he is mentally challenged, and has a serious learning disability), have been signed to extensions, that gives both of them at LEAST two more years.

NO folks, Tua is not going to retire, as long as CTE progression cannot be tracked while the patient is still alive, there is no empirical proof that Tua is suffering any permanent damage, both Zonk and MadDog were/are just fine, so, as with many of us Tua will see what he wants to see. Now on to Mr Ross, if we have not learned yet, the most important thing to him, is a "collaborative effort", so as long as everyone is singing Kumbaya he is good. Yup gonna be a while.

I think of how many Phin players have died since the last superbowl, and it is not the greatest thing to think about. What I do know now, at 67, I will not see one, maybe a Jest superbowl, but not Phins.

The Ever Staring Mortality In The Face VIPER

McD needs to turn this thing around. Show us some of that offensive genius, even if we don't win much before Tua gets back

NFL people don't fire people after 3 games. they don't get in a snit.
The Raiders fired Dennis Allen four games into his 3rd season as head coach.
The Dolphins should have fired McDaniel following last season's collapse of the team, but they did not so my best guess is that he will be fired within the next few weeks.
