Couldn't keep his feet. He slipped too much. Don't know. Bad day at the office.
Finnegan was worse than Grimes, as others have posted. Heck, even on the fake spike play if you merely shade the outside you might bait the rookie receiver to cut inside and end the game if he falls for it and you tackle him in bounds.
Grimes is a little guy who can't tackle and who true #1 receivers don't have much trouble taking physical advantage of, despite how sticky Grimes can be. Those were known quantities. It's going to show up again against Brandon Marshall. Somehow we are willing to ignore glaring deficiencies and hand out big contracts to defensive backs like Jones and Grimes. I guess it's desperation to pretend we actually uncovered a great player. Even if he's not, pay him like one.
Agree on the fake spike, game over if you play it right. As to Grimes , I think he is a great tackler, wraps up well.
I guess, you should as well, since you should capitalize the beginning of a sentence.
****ing spellcheckers in here, have you ever heard of autocorrect? We are all upset, but you feel it is needed to jump on someone's comment?!? But I'm glad you did, because you showed us all how dumb and hypocritical some people can be...
I still think Grimes is the most overrated player on the team. I've posted that several times dating to prior to the season. Today he held up better than I expected against Nelson. Granted, it was largely due to our pass rush. I don't think the outside rush guys can get enough credit for how much they shook up the Packers today. Green Bay made sure to use three guys on Cameron Wake on that pivotal 4nd and 10 play with a minute remaining. The tight end bumped Wake then the guard and tackle double teamed.

Surely you can't be serious.
Are we judging just off today's performance?
I'm certainly not. He's been meh all season. Especially tackling.

And by the way, as I said in another thread, here's a fun thought about next week: Chicago has TWO Jordy Nelsons.
