May be headed to either Cleveland or Miami....that is if Ireland wants him.
He is looking for a multi-year deal...could be a hell of a steal if he comes back 100%
 
I hope he comes here.... but man Haden/Grimes is one hell of a combo.

Grimes/Draft pick/Marshall/Carroll/ (draft pick? preferably) / McCann or Stanford?

Much better than what we have now
 
If we sign him and he's healthy we have our shutdown corner for years. Make it ****ing happen.
 
Funny how the article makes it sound like the Browns have an offer on the table, but not sure if we've even made one to him??? Either we're being very hush-hush about any offer made or we haven't made one. I'd hate to lose on a potential top rated CB because we haven't even made him an offer. If we are lucky enough to land him, I would feel a little better going into the draft knowing we didn't have to decide between OT, CB, DE or WR with our first pick. Even better if we signed an OT too. I think we have enough $$ to get those two spots secured before the draft and then have a lot of flexibility to get the best play-maker regardless of the position.
 
Get Grimes!

Yes I would love to get Grimes & OT Moore before the draft...then the draft becomes much clearer for us!
 
Grimes is my CB of choice out of any of the F/As. He'd play with a chip on his shoulder.
 
hopefully we sign him and he can come back to being the player he used to be before the injury
 
I would love Grimes. The only reason I think he is still on the market is because of a slow recovery from the achilles injury. Just my theory though! Grimes + 2 draftees would be ideal, along with cutting one of Marshall/Patterson.
 
Browns just signed another DB Kevin Barnes to a one-year contract.
