groh remains frontrunner for dc job

you know what pisses me off is just because he was bill's guy, bill wants him on this team.....**** friendships, just like the bull**** pat white pick, just because he wanted him...we need some damn talent, not a friend, or a draft pick becuase he wants a new toy

I dont put much credit in the "Grohs still the front runner" why? per the article he available--butler is under contract and the phins need(and granted) permission to interview Butler.

If they wanted Groh as DC he'd be the DC now, just as when news broke of Pasqualoni's firing people were saying Bowles I said no because he'd be named DC by then, and as it is we dont even hear his name at this point.

So Im of the opinion that they want someone else(Butler) and it will be a matter of if he wants the job, if he does I think he's the guy if not then Groh.

I will be very disappointed if they offer the job to Groh over Butler. Hopefully Butler is serious about coming to Miami and not using the Dolphins to force the Steelers in to a future commitment.

I find it somewhat amusing all these people randomly hating on Groh. I like to think I know the NFL pretty well but when it comes to coaches, and college coaches, and positions coaches, I don't think I know much of ANYTHING.

Its hilarious most people have already made a stance without knowing a single thing about either guy. You read a couple stats and pretend to know who is the more knowledgeable football mind.

Give it up already.

There's this thing called "Google". It allows you to pull up almost any stat imaginable on a professional player of coach, and with limited research, be able to extrapilate a reasonable opinion regarding thier potential success.

Al Groh's been around the block a few times, and people are just ready to roll the dice.

Ya you could do a lot of research through Google but I doubt 95% of people voicing their opinion have done much homework.

An average Miami Hurricanes team led by Rarry Shoker and a QB with damaged ligaments in his throwing hand dropped 52 points on Al Groh's Virginia defense this season.

I am not an Al Groh fan. But I do think he's better suited for the NFL as opposed to the college ranks. And I do feel that Parcells and company are doing Mr. Groh a favor by putting his name out there in lights.

I'm still saying Al Groh to Georgia Tech.

If Sparano and Ireland want Butler, and if Butler's interested, I think that Butler will be our new DC.

I'm not trying to pick a fight here.

It's not hard to type in "Al Groh" and pull up everything about him professionally evident.

Al Groh is a known product.

We're ready for outside fo the box thinking. It may crash and burn, but you never know.
