Gronk in any kind of trouble? Partying in Aruba.

If it's legal where he did it, I don't see how he could be in any trouble. The legal drinking age in Mexico is 18, so kids under 21 down near the border often cross the border into Juarez to drink. They aren't in the U.S., so there is nothing that can be done about it. I assume the same thing would apply here...

It is still disgusting..

Yea that is what the U.S. will tell you and have you brainwashed to think . . . while every where else in the world the age of 16 is a perfectly acceptable to engage with, if you are older.

The U.S. has done a great job of mind ****ing it's people into it's religious beliefs and have come up with their own definitions of right and wrong, and people don't know any better and accept it.

Rock on Gronk, do your thing!!

Glad you said it, I didn't want to be the one to start the debate. This is the most uptight culture of any first world nation. The difference between a 16 year old and an 18 year old is what? A high school diploma? If the dude can deal with the immaturity, then by all means have at it. Personally, I can't stand having more than a 10 minute conversation with most people, guys and girls, that age. I couldn't possibly imagine trying to have a relationship with one. I'd probably gouge out my ears with a fork a few days into the thing...

What if she was 14? Because with that logic Locke, there is no difference between 14 and 16. Still in highschool and still immature.

I wonder how the father of that girl feels. Gronkowski is a huge guy..she probably got ruined.

I mentioned post-puberty, so that takes the ambiguity out at a certain point. But you're right, the argument could keep on going, there had to be a solid line and they put it at 18. I simply agree with KDawg that it isn't that big of a deal, if you can deal with the immaturity. It's been a law here so long, and a lot of people don't leave the country, so they don't realize that the U.S. is probably one of only a few countries in the world that has this law. Hell, 14 year old girls in Japan are often sex symbols. Most Americans would find that absolutely disgusting and bordering on pedophilia, but it's normal over there. It's all cultural relativism I guess...

She isn't 14. Why assume?
