Gronk possibly out for season opener.

@AdamSchefter: Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski still not cleared for contact. Would be surprising to see him play this preseason. Still optimism for opener.

Ahhh Gronk, the love for steroids. By inflating your muscles so much your ligaments, tendons and joints cant handle all the pressure so they break and tear. Keep up the good work big guy. A least he can spend more time going to clubs naked and posing with no shirt for magazines.

Yep, he's got John Bosa syndrome.

The latest I've heard, he is about at 50/50 for playing week 1. I'm sure the status will remain the same until the morning of our first game.

He'll play.

Just another load of bull**** from the Cheaters.

Actually, if you think back to last season Patriot fans and even Gronk's family was outraged that big bad Belichick wasn't letting him come back even though he was seemingly ready to go.

Actually, IIRC, that's backwards.

You don't remember that? It was a pretty big story and got a lot of play on NFL Network. His people said he could be ready to go week one but his first game wasn't until Oct 20th.

It was Gronk and his agent who decided when he returned, not BB and the Pats.

I bet he plays and does well…Fins have to compete and find a way to come out with a win.

It's unlikely that Gronk will play week one. Last year he took his time coming back from multilple surgeries on the advice of his inner circle, which the Pats were not happy about. After an ACL he is likely to be even more cautious. The Pats know they will win the division as long as they have Brady, which has happened every year since 2002. Therefore, they don't need to rush Gronk back, they need him at full speed for the post season. But don't kid yourself about this game. The Pats have made it to the AFC Championship game each of the past two years without Gronk. They fortified their weakest link (pass defense) this off season, and will be tougher than ever.
Except for 2008.

I hate the pats the same as I hate the Jets. F 'em both!

They will both meet their maker once they line-up against us. :grim:

(Just a thought I wanted to throw out there)

Phins need to game plan for Patriots being a 100% healthy. Getting out of the AFC East is the first step to a superbowl, I rather Gronk play so if we win the team and the fans are posative about every game and not hoping for injuries so we have a chance.
