Two weeks ago, NE used Talib to press and cover Graham. Is that a good strategy for us, or do we not have the personnel to pull that off?
Gronk in his second week will have even more input on the offense.

Is this the week they fully unleash Dion Jordan. Drafted as the "Brady Killer," I think it is.

There is nobody on the roster to defend him. A criticism I have on Ireland is not making moves to match up with division foes.

I say you ride or die with reshad jones and/or a LBer. Gronk would smash grimes all day he's too big.

Agreed....Jones needs to play Gronk and actually step up and play the way he did last season.

We wont press Gronk but I see us playing a lot of man and bracketing gronk inside out. Amendola being back makes this a little difficult to do all day long though. We will trust our front 4 to give Brady pressure right now. The biggest player in this game is Wake / Odrick. We need Wake on the edge and Odrick just needs to be odrick and help with pressure fight in the middle of brady's face. He HATES that cause he can't move.

Fox - I think you are being over critical of Jeff in that regards. I think the plan to match up with division IE new England is there. No we do not have a player that can cover gronk one on one. not to may of those guys around anyway. We do however have a NASTY pass rush that can give Brady fits and it is more right in ht emiddle with Starks/Odric/Paul. Jordan was brought in to bring more pressure on the edges. We rotate 7 players along the front 4 and six of them have at least 1 sack. The only plaer without a sack is Paul. I would say we have a deadly front 4.

It's not a done deal that Amendola will be back is it? He practiced limited yesterday but I think he's still up in the air from what I've read - to me him playing in this game is a huge difference!

Amondola is more likely to get injured on the way to the stadium then having a major impact....Wes Welker he is not.

What? I thought that's why Ireland signed Wheeler?

I can't even keep a straight face while typing that.

Ranking 15th in the league in sacks with only 2.8 per game.

KC has a nasty pass rush (5.1 per game), ours is mediocre.

Well I'll tell you what, if we put a corner on Gronkowski, if I were the Pats I'd line him up in line all day and blast that corner in the run game.

Just a thought but I could see the Fins possibly using Jordan to cover Gronk on pass plays. He dropped into coverage quite a bit in college. He definitely has the speed and length to cover him. I just wonder how affective he would be at the POA if Gronk stayed inline to block for the run game.

And you get off his block by coming down hard on his forearm and see if he tries to block you again...bet he doesn't.
