Grove out vs Pats!

that was one of the downsides of signing him, he has had a history of injuries...

This really sucks. There is no denying that he is essential to our OL. Unfortunately, I really didn't pay much attention to him until the Panthers game. When he got hurt and was going insane to get back in the game, he really impressed me. That man is filled with fire and the intensity that this team needs from all of our players. Jake Grove is a monster and we need him on the field.

He was one of the few guys in the league who handled wilfork 1 on 1 on some downs. You need a gaurd to help on vince but when you can have a guy block him 1 on 1 on even 20-30 plays a game that is a huge factor.

vince is going to do some damage .satella was a stud center and a franchise center according to the fans till he ran into vince and got traded to al-catraze[raiders]

I remember how I was dogged when I dared to suggest that O line depth was a major cause for concern, partiularly the interior of the Offensive line.

Even after Garners obvious flexibility at O line positions?
Back ups are back ups for a reason, and i tend to think our back ups are at least decent. Berger and Garner seem to be holding their own far as i can see. Now, with Wilfork coming up that could change.
How much can you expect from a back up? I suppose that is a question worth pondering.

I thought he was a waste as well as MR.DRYWALL

I see depth as a problem only for one reason, and it isn't a lack of talent. From what I saw of GARNER, our best back-up C is our back-up RT and maybe our best back-up G. The fact that he plays C, G, and T is consoling, but you can end up being a "Jack of all trades, master of none". And not only is it better to have 2 positions rather than 3, you also can only play one at a time, and C is (i/m/o) the most important O-Line position after LT. So, the bottom line is that both of the 2 O-Linemen that we got in F/A under PARCELLS have lived up to expectations: they're both very good, and injury-prone. And GARNER can't back up both of them at the same time.

We'll see how good BERGER really is this Sunday. He certainly plays smart and has the "tools". But, I'm worried.
