Jon Gruden and Ron Jaworski hosted an ESPN conference call today.
Jaworski was asked about Dez Bryant.
He called Bryant “an outstanding talent,” but noted “the checkered past” and the fact “that he didn’t play last year.”
Jaworski is high on Arrelious Benn from Illinois, saying that he when he studied Benn, “I saw No. 84, Sterling Sharpe.” He said that Golden Tate doesn’t always run the crispest routes, but “a guy with the ball in the air, he owns up.” And he also mentioned Georgia Tech’s Demaryius Thomas, calling him “young with upside.”
