Gruden's QB Camp: Tannehill

Ya he sure does seem to have that winning combination of smarts and love of the game (not to mention the WCO familiarity)... I felt a lot better after watching this video too, but will attempt to reserve my judgement to spare myself a let down just in case. After all... it's been what... 13 years now? One can hope...

btw, thanks for the sticky :) my first one.
 
Good info, really love this series. I love how animated he got talking about comebacks :lol: - definitely has a love for the game, and that alone will take him far. I also loved hearing that he's sort of an anti-Henne in that he needs to check down MORE as opposed to checking it down every single time.
 
This whole draft seems different. I not drinking the cool-aid for our GM, but something weird happened over the last 3 day's. Not once after a pick did I go "What the **** were we thinking"......not sure if that's the GM (on his own), or a combo of GM, New Coach, and related staff? I hoping that, we have a coach, GM and a team that "gets it"!!! It's been a long time for me, that I'm really excited about this team.

ireland says he's been on him for since two seasons ago. dont tell me he doesnt have people on his radar.

and btw, when will the media get it through their thick skulls that we wanted this kid and not 10 mil flynn. You know why Seattle was at the dinner? Cus they wanted to see what we knew better on!
 
I've just learnt Tannehill was used as a punter at A&M as well as receiver. So now we have a QB, WR and punter all in one :lol:

Man, Jax must be livid. Not only did they pick before us, they traded up in the first to take a receiver, both their QB's blow and they took a punter in the third. If only they had taken Tannehill, they would have gotten all three in one :lol: Suckers
 
Gruden really has that knack for making players look good. I mean, after watching those QB camps I practically wanted Miami to draft every single one of them.

Anyway, great entertainment and it really makes me like this pick more.

ya he did that for me last year too... still an interesting watch though as you said.
 
What impressed me most was his football IQ. Awesome video. Had to watch it twice. Go Phins!
 
Cant complain about this kid. Especially when i heard he learned the playbook in only 3 hours...YIKES! :crazy::crazy:
 
Couldn't follow link yet but i youtube'd it and found him to be quite knowledgeable...
