Guard Jake Scott visits Dolphins

You might be right mate, but I still see us keeping Richie and sticking Scott in at RG. Richie gives us an option at C if Pouncey were to go down and overall I feel that he makes it stronger o-line than it would be without him-unless of course the FO have their eye on a replacement in the upcoming draft.

Yea I know Nate Garner is a backup C and Ryan Cook is also a ZBS C/G . . . both guys have that "west coast" fit, but guys like Jerry and Incognito don't necessarily have that ability and their lack of movement is a detriment in this offense.

It's also not out of the question to keep Scott at RG, move Murtha to left guard (which could be a real good fit) and draft your RT. Typical Dolphins right now, a bunch of versatile linemen but no real answers, hopefully the draft will shed some light.

so we gonna sign this guy or is this just more banter to try to prove to the fanbase that they left no stone unturned.

Good pass blocker, not-so-good run blocker.

It is so hard to say he is a "no-so-good" run blocker when he plays the power position on a line that produced a 2000 yard rusher. I don't watch Titans football often so I certainly am not the one to disagree, but I just find that notion hard to believe (nothing against you, several people have said this about Scott).

I do think he'll be a solid addition to this line . . . if we sign him (which is always the biggest battle).

If true a replacement for Incognito, I can see they are sticking to that extremely successful pattern (for the slow, Sarcasm) they've been developing through the years ridding one guy to fill with another mediocre potential, and the Hits keep rolling on......
Funny how we are stretched for cap space and have so few actual play makers.....and just keep spending on so many potential mediocre players...............who we will be looking AGAIN to replace next year
Well, I guess they don't want to interfere with Building through the draft....lol

Could be an upgrade on the line. This draft has lots of potential starting guards in it so maybe if we sign him we will be focusing on the playmakers in the draft. Still need to draft a RT.

I would love to have another Jake Scott on the Dolphins. :)
