Guard Jake Scott visits Dolphins

he thinks he's a superstar...no way he comes back cheap unless he gets a reality check...2013 i'll be shocked if he comes back

we are pretty thin at corner also so its not a good situation

thing about tremaine johnson is are you getting another sean smith...tweener...dicey stuff...love the length though...love it...but that kids not playin a high end cb...and free safety...i swear its freakin sean smith type risk all over again

to a degree but I think he has way more upside.

IMO Murtha showed enough 2 years ago to atleast earn the chance of competing for the RT spot. And IIRC he is a pretty athletic RT and played in a WCO in college.

As for the FO issue, I said this in another thread, but the PR department has a lot of issues as do Ross and Ireland's ways of going about thing. First they shouldn't have said they were going to be so active because that brings high expectation, and with Philbin wanting to build through draft, (and the draft being more of Ireland's area of expertise) it was a bad move. Then when certain things happen they are too quiet on why they are doing things. They are either too open or too quiet.

bingo...

I hope Sean Smith is gone sooner then later. The guy is just a gangly beanpole who doesn't play physical at all. I have never liked tall gangly CBs. They all have problems turning and running.

If we are going to entertain Jake scott, it might be wise to see If manny Fernandez wants to come back too. We sure could use him.

yeah when you get guys that are that dang long they have problems opening their hips and transitioning and maintaining balance...asomugha is that rarest of rare exception but for the most part you play boundary cb and you're that long and that tall you don't have the quick twitch abilities to match up...

i think ideally 6 ft is a great height for a boundary cb anything over 6 ft 2 or even 6 ft 2 quite the danger zone...

must have lowballed jake scott. thought we would have signed him by now.

looks like we're going with what we got?
