Now that we have signed our franchise left tackle and locked up the position with Jake Long. The o-line is starting to look like this:

LT: Jake Long LG:? C:Samson Satele RG:Justin Smiley RT: Vernon Carey

There is still a glaring hole at the left guard spot and only a few prospects on the current roster. Drew Mormino is a guy we drafted last year in the 6th round, and he showed potential before being put IR. But beyond him there isn't much on the roster.

So my question is: "Who do think we are gonna draft?" or "Who would you like us to draft to fill that LG spot?"

Some of the guys I'm interested in is Robert Felton from Arkansas and Kerry Brown from App. State. I've also heard that we've shown some interest in Jeremy Zuttah from Rutgers.

Thanks for your suggestions and let's get ready for the draft:up:

It is going to be Greco, the Dolphins have spent significant time looking at him and he fits in perfectly with the rest of our line and what Parcells is trying to accomplish.

Kerry Brown from Appalachian St. I would pick him up in the 6th. But if there are draft day rumblings, we could get him in the 4th before someone else snatches him up.

Coming out of HS he had offers to a lot of different schools, but after talking it over with his father, he chose App St. He has Mid-Round talent, but if you don't come from a BCS school you don't get a lot of hype. Many scouts wondered why he was not invited to the combine. He was the FCS Offensive Linemen of the year and part of a 3-time Nat. Championship team.

Mike Gibson OG/OT California 6th rd. I expect that MIA will sign at least one vet OL after the next round of cuts @ june 1st. They probably also need a G/C combo in case Mormino is not ready.

i have a feeling its greco as well they really like the kid. i dono if he lasts to 57 tho.

I think we definitely go OG with either our 3rd or 4th pick for sure.

I personally feel we'll trade down in the 3rd and pick up an extra 5th or 6th and then take a OG with the 3rd we drop back to.

Shawn Murphy

The aforementioned Schuening from Oregon State. He is just a great player that reminds me a lot of Bruce Matthews (yeah I know different positions, but still).

I would not be upset with Greco though.

All that are mentioned are good candidates but the one problem I have is now that they have given Long the LT job I would be shocked if they line another rookie up next to him at guard, that would spell disaster to me. I hate to say this as I am big Carey supporter but I think we may have to look at Carey at LG for stability and either Greco who played tackle in college or Nicks who I thought looked like a man among boys at the Senior Bowl playing RT.

I'm actually a big fan of Drew Radovich, the other guard from USC. I think he's got more growth potential, and he's got kind of a nasty attitude.

I really like Duane Brown from Virginia Tech as well. He has some very good combine numbers and was a solid player for Va Tech.

I like Roy Schuening of Oregon State i think he will be a good Gaurd but i also like Drew Mormino the guy that we drafted last year i think eather one would do good
