Guardian Cap

Actually I’ve read quotes from several players who have said they don’t even know it’s there… and considering the financial investment, which is just weeks old, you’d figure Tua and the team would pull out all the stops to protect his brain
I have heard that QBs don’t like the helmet because it restricts your peripheral vision. Generally speaking they play with a wide open helmet and 2 bar facemask to be able to see as much as possible.

I have a feeling if he doesn't retire, this will be his selling point... I've decided to keep going, but now I'm going to wear it... We'll see...

The decision for Tua is kind of unfair. The main stream media and the NFL has made him the poster boy for caring, and safety for players etc.

Quite honestly, right or wrong I agree with you. Tua would need to do something like this to be somewhat accepted.

If that helmet really works, who knows, Tua can come back and prove how effective the helmet is.

Definitely funny. But have to say, anyone who took the hit against the Bengals or last night is getting concussed. The Milano hit and the Packers hit? Ehhhh.
What hit ? He launched himself into the defender and the defender tried not to hit him

Yeah, no dispute there. I guess I should have said “the hit against the Bengals” and “the contact last night.” He initiated the contact last night. A terrible decision.

I doubt any kind of helmet will totally prevent Tua from getting injured again - no cap
The Guardian cap may have helped a bit with the first concussion against the Bills and the third concussion against the Packers. They wouldn’t have had an impact last night or with the concussion against the Bengals.

Yeah, it's only going to make him more reckless so it's a net zero improvement

There is definitely a double standard in the NFL with concussions. There is the standard for Tua, and then there is the standard for the other 1,695 players.

I've been meaning to show this video. Professional Sports franchises should check the technology on the last helmet. Very Interesting.

I’d like to know why Tua wasn’t wearing one of these?? Is it because of the concussion prevention helmet he was wearing? I would think it would literally an added layer of protection…
Will not help
It’s the brain matter that moves around and becomes temporarily off kilter. Nothing you wear can prevent that
