That's right, i guarentee it! This team will make the correct stirdes in the offseason with Saban at the helm oppose to idiot Wannstead with that catapillar for a mustache on his upper lip. Saban will adress this teams issues, which we all know what they are.

Look at this season from a positive view for once instead of all you fans who just think record says everything.

- How many people gave us a chance at beating Denver? 34-10, thats an a** whooping.

- 17-7 in New York, we were just one big play away from winning that game

- Carolina is 7-2. One of those loses was to us. That's a good note

- The Buffalo, Atlanta, and New England game were all very winnable. We just failed to make the clutch play. Buf- Browns fumble, Atl- Frerrots pick, NE- Missed oppertunities terrible play calling. So lets say those games go our way. This is what the AFC East would look like
...................W-L /Div
Miami........... 6-3 /2-1
New England. 4-5/ 1-1
Buffalo......... 3-6 /1-2
New York...... 2-7/ 0-2

Now if that were the case, would everyone be all pissed? I think this year has been a big progression from last year. No one would have thought we'd be playing a game for first place against NE in week 10.

So i will go ahead and GUARENTEE THAT WE WIN THIS DIVISION next year...

now go ahead and let the arguments come.:)

i agree w/ most of what you say. I dissagree with the "terrible play calling" if plays are executed correctly then they will work. its all about execution. i wont guarantee we will win the division next year either but i'm willing to say we have a good shot. Hell we are still in it now, but you must remember the jets w/ a reggie bush or matt leinhert could be a different team and they are playing for that #1 now.

Seriously, week after week I feel like I'm sitting in a high school pep rally listening to these predictions on the heels of all these losses.

No I agree actually and would expect nothing less. I hope for a veteran QB this season who can run this offense well (or maybe a change of offense even, we haven't tried a WCO just yet) and drafting a QB, unless we can get David Carr. Patrick Ramsey I don't know about unless we surround him with a great offense.

Favre seems to still have it and won't play for anyone except Mike Sherman, so maybe we can bring both over here for a little while. McNair could be a FA. Kitna is although he's not in their class at all. The more important thing is obviously who the future QB is and that remains to be seen. Some people like Vince Young, frankly I do too if he comes out. Matt Leinart would be fine with me if we don't spend too much to get him. Jay Cutler is a possible QB as is Brady Quinn. Brodie Croyle and Charlie Whitehurst are good developmental QBs. Omar Jacobs is still a very good passer if he goes this year.

I definitely think we will be competitive for sure next year. To me it depends on how fast a likely young QB will become a playmaker for us rather than a liability due to lack of experience. We have to become a much more running team next year to aide a young QB's growth, but does such a plan include Linehan?
