I can't see him making it to the 3rd round. I think he will get scooped up in the 2nd…maybe even the late 1st by a team without huge needs. I guess a lot will depend on how his recovery is coming along..but with the way these guys rehab he will probably still be able to contribute next year. He's a complete stud

What a moronic decision by Mark Richt to have him in the game at that stage when it was obviously out of reach for Auburn.

I would grab him with our 2nd if he enters the league next year.

Said when he got suspended that it was probably a blessing in disguise. No reason for him to finish the season; he already proved himself.

He's a junior so Gurley could stay at Georgia and come out next year.

Man that sucks. Hate to see these guys with such a bright future get hurt like that. Hoping he bounces back he's awesome to watch

Great RB, but it seems that he's always hurt. I'd pass until Round 3.

Which mean you'd pass on him, because unless something goes terribly wrong with his surgery or rehab he doesn't go that far. Willis McGahee was a first round pick after tearing up his knee in the bowl game. Big time talent doesn't fall too far.

Terrible injury for Gurley. No reason at all why he should've been in the game at that point.

He returned the opening kickoff 100 yards for a TD but it was called back on a holding penalty. Would've been his 2nd 100+ yard kick return this season... and he's only returned 4 or 5 kicks. His top end speed and 5th gear for a back that big is extremely rare.. among everything else that he possesses that's rare.

I'd still take him in the 1st round. That knee is going to be stronger than it was to begin with after he's done rehabbing it.

I think if we can sneak into the playoffs especially and we are picking into the 20s…you have to consider Gurley in the 1st. He would probably be able to return midway through next year or so…and he's an ELITE talent that you just aren't going to get otherwise. I think the big question is whether or not you would take Gordon over Gurley at this point…and I think I would just because of the injury.

You just take either one of 'em and be happy. Although as I've said before, Gordon is such a great talent just phenomenal... but Gurley is still a different beast. He's bigger, faster, and stronger than Gordon. Has proven to be more versatile and a more complete back.

They showed an amazing statistic on Gurley during the Auburn game that speaks directly to his rare talent. He's been hit behind the line of scrimmage on 25 runs, and still averages 4 yards/carry on those runs. Gordon on the other hand, isn't even touched at all on most of his big runs. He gets caught from behind on runs that Gurley doesn't, despite being bigger and stronger. Gordon gets great blocking from a devastating offensive line that will put all 5 in the NFL over the next 2 years.

There is and always was a clear difference in talent and ability between Gurley and Gordon if you really watch 'em play. However, Gordon's stock is steady trending upwards while Gurley just suffered a season ending knee injury. This scenario may lend itself to Gordon being drafted first between the two, but it doesn't change the fact that Todd Gurley is the superior talent.

Should Miami draft a RB... the 4 that intrigue me are Jeremy Langford (Mich St), Cameron Artis-Payne (Auburn (ideal for Lazor's schemeIMO)), Josh Robinson (MS St), & Melvin Gordon (Wisconsin)
