I have read through dozens of threads going back and forth about which QB got screwed the worst by the receivers, backs, and punt return fumbles and drops. BOTH GUYS GOT HOSED! For once, both QB's moved the team fairly well, although nothing wonderful, but neither could get into a rhythm because we kept caughing the ball up, getting penalized, or dropping catchable balls.

Either way, both of these guys are better than Fiedler and we will be better off than last year. However, quit looking for Marino/Montana/Favre/Young, etc. We will be lucky to have average play out of the QB spot this year. Hopefully, Saban will finally do what Jimmy and Wanny failed to do...address the QB position through the draft by picking someone with a legitimate chance to start (Leinart, Jacobs, Young, etc.).

When your offense turns the ball over every time, its hard for you to put up a drive. With that said, Frerotte was at fault for one of the turnovers, and his balls weren't thrown close enough to be considered true drops, certainly not as bad as Derrius or D-Lee in previous weeks.

Leak would be fine for me but I am not sure if he is coming out or not. I believe that this is only his sophmore season, maybe junior.

Like I said, neither QB looked great but a lot of the passes were close enough to be caught. If it were up to me, Derrius & D-Lee would be sacking groceries at Publix!

I personally would like to see AJ succeed strictly so that we wouldn't have waisted a 2nd round pick. I would be happy if he could just give us average play until next years draftee is ready to take over.

you guys want Leinart or Leak? well in order for the Fins to get a top draft pick like we did this year that would mean we would have to really suck again this year, unless we give up a top player for a draft.

How about we see how Leak plays this year. Personally I think he is over-rated

He is. In a lot of games last year he made horrible decisions. He will be drafted on the first day due to his arm, but I haven't seen anything from him yet to show me he'll be an above average QB.

I trust Saban and Mueller to scout the kids and make the right decision, I just want to FINALLY make QB a priority. You can't keep gambling on "project" QBs when you have nothing to fall back on. I know that I am restating the obvious but I can't say it enough that we got screwed by not drafting a young QB to groom under Marino.
