Does anyone else think its funny that he left the shadow of DC to be a starter, and then BAM, he is right back to where he started???

Oh well sucks for him, good for us.

I was pulling for Daunte over Brees so its a good day. :D

I say he leaves. He is probably so mad right now, oh well though.

How about we bring in Tim Couch and have him battle Berlin and Lemon for a backup spot.

i think saban goes after a good back up cause i dont think he wants lemon and berlin as 2nd and 3rd string guys.
 
I Thought Nick would have kept Gus as a safety net, but he didnt want to re work his contract, now he will never get a ring, cuz we are going all the way, at least he would have got one as a back up...
 
Well I guess he could always resign for a cheaper price.

Culpepper might not be ready for the start of the season so he might get a few games.

I agree with you on that, but I heard rumors he was already being chased by other teams.. (as a back up)

Do you think that Culpepper has passed his physical now? Because I doubt Saban would release Frerotte without Culpepper having his physical.
 
No way they trade for DC then come back the next day and say he failed his physical.

Well I guess Gus has to decide where he stands the best shot at winning. That would either be us or the Broncos.
 
I'm thinking that we might end up with Schaub. With the $$$ we saved by getting Daunte, we can still get Schaub at a decent price......and he'll still be getting more than he's making in Atlanta.
