Gus Frerotte sucks!!!

LOL yeah he went 9 for 25 but hey they werent his fault.

And another appears from the pile of bashing members..........not saying he is perfect or is the man going to get us to the SB, but d*mn man, you say "9 of 25 but hey they werent his fault", you do realize a QB can make perfect throws but get a incomplete pass due to the WR dropping the ball or getting hit when trying to attempt the ball? Or is your vision so blurred that you only see what you want to?

Is he making stupid plays and non-good decision making plays? NO HE IS NOT!!!!!

When he starts just standing there and taking sacks instead of scrambling, when he is throwing the easy int type of ball, when he is fumbling, etc... then say he sucks......until then, be quiet unless you can do 5times better then Gus or AJ or Sage or Berlin.

he fumbled last week. he took sacks last week, he threw the easy int this week. i guess he sucks

You also realize that he had quite a few open WRs and couldn't hit them..so in my mind those cancel each other out. Then you go over what else he did tonight. At first he managed the game well w/ Ricky running...then pretty much not so good.

Ok, I was awaiting you adamprez ;) because I knew you would have something to say like you said........

By the logic of looking into a previous a game, lets take a look at the person you support some much.....INT, INT, INT for a td, int for a td, INT, INT, fumble, fumble, sack, sack, sacked again, INT, fumble, standing around and oh my, got sacked.

See, there is no sense in looking into the past is there?

I know. In no way am I saying none of it wasn't his fault, just pointing out somethings to the peanut gallery.

I think Gus made a few mistakes today... something that needs to be fixed through coaching. But i also so that first drive and saw how he is capable of leading this offense. Yes his overthrows need to be fixed but i also saw alot of catchable balls being dropped by WR's. Im not trying to stick up for Gus... i think both guys played well tonight. I think Gus had more mistakes but he also had more time in AND he had more time with the starting defense of Tampa. Im just grateful we won.

Someone said the defense won this for us... i think the defense almost lost it for us. (not the starters) they started to play HORRIBLE in the third quarter, giving away easy stuff. And even in the fourth... had tampa not shot itself in the foot so many times with penalties, they would have scored and we would have lost. The defense did not play well after the middle of the 2nd. Just my opinion.

can you please change your avatar. i have a hard time disagreeing with bob griese.

I noticed there seemed to be a lot of wind in the first half. That could have caused the overthrows... and the 76 yard punt by the TB punter.

I don't understand how people are defending this guy. He has looked awful. He can't complete passes. I'm not saying AJ is playing well, but there is no way anyone can say Gus is playing better. He continues to miss recievers. He cannot complete deep passes. Truthfully to me the INT is the least of our worries. His incompletions are what concerns me the most. I wish we had a QB out there that was looking great and running away with the job, but we have one QB who looks terrible (Gus) and one who is unspectacular, but not as bad as Gus (AJ), so anyone who think Gus doesn't look that bad or is outpreforming Feeley is completely biased or blind.

As someone said on this site earlier "if aj sucks, gus swallows"

Both have ?s. Both look good then bad. Practice needs to be more throwing deep to see who can do it w/ a rush on. Gus shows much better poise than Feeley, he just needs to work on his touch.

Wanting the Fiddler back is FUNNY! You would rather it be underthrown by 10 yds and returned for 6 than an over throw! Need I remind you how many ints were returned last year on top of the really bad job of catching about 15 other ints by the cbs. W/ Gus there are not ints going the other way for 6.

Gus got lucky on the 1 int that was out of bounds and Barber made a great play on the one that counted. I think both need extensive work on throwing. I think the wrs and qbs need 2 a days. Practice will tell it all this week.

Honest edge this game!!! AJ, although it was against the 2nd and 3rd teamers. & Guys that will be driving UPS trucks in a week.

Gus missed big!

Please Saban, get it right who ever you choose.
