Where is he? I thought he did a decent job considering the line he was given to operate behind. Could be a viable option instead of giving up a 2nd rounder for a 37 yr old Qb.

KC's not getting anything close to a 2nd rounder. Once KC realizes they need to cut him and get nothing or trade him for a late-round pick is when we'll pick him up.

...and if they do, instead, cut him, we'll pick him up with no draft pick lost...

I don't know What are the dates for next QB school or mini-camp, but my feeling is it will be necessary to count with Green by that event, so KC may play dealing and may obtain something else than a 7th round.
On the other side, their real options reduce to us and if they want something before the draft, it will be a 7th round and perhaps include a low profile player.
Other option is a more complex solution, exchanging 2nd rounds #40 & #51, a 7th round in this draft and a conditional pick on 2008, based on Green's performance.
This way they increase Green values without impacting us too much none on roster or draft picks.

Maybe the dolphins will make a conditional trade with KC with say a 6th or 7th with something additional if Green meets certain conditions while playing

I'd rather get Frerotte back than trade anything for Trent Green. Concussions damage quarterbacks, Kurt Warner was never the same after his.
