Gus will start the game against the Browns. How do i know....Sabans said it.

"We feel like he probably could play in the game, based on what he did today," coach Nick Saban said.

Ok, Saban has said he could play. So, when Saban said this...

"If you had a gun, put it to my head and you say, 'I'm going to shoot you if you don't tell me,' I probably would tell you," Saban said. "But absent the gun, I just said what I am going to say, because if I tell you I tell everybody."

That (i would probably tell you) means he knows.....He knows his starter and he has said Gus can play....See what i gettingat here people. ;) If you keep reading it you will see the same. Gus will start. :D

Your views welcome.....am i wrong? Tell me? Am i right? Let me know

Damn. I was wanting to see what Rosenfels can do.

I think whoever starts will end up with 3 or 4 balls dropped when it should be caught. I think whoever starts will have to run Linehans plays, so when we are in the red zone, whoever is playing will have to deal with a pass play that the defense knows is coming.

I'm damn near positive that Gus will start, but I hope Sage does.

im not really sure why people want Sage so bad. If you think about it, teams will blitz him like crazy and try to shake him up. I imagine Sage is not real good in the tough department. cleveland blitzes alot too i believe.

Whoever starts, I think we will be seeing a greater percentage of run plays... which is a good thing based on what we've been seeing regarding the results from the passing plays!

Maybe people want Sage to start to see what he has or what he means to the team. It would be nice to know if he can ever be a starting quarterback or even an adequate backup. If this isn't the time, there may come the time when he has to start, remember Lucas? If he starts and does well thats good for the team and on the other hand if he starts and is a big disappointment, well then people will quit calling for Sage as the solution or answer. As always this is JMO.

yeah. part of me wants to see him so we can put this to rest and not feel like there was a guy on this team who could have helped, but was never given a chance

Eh. Whatever. Gus didn't do so bad against the Pats. It was Chambers that sucked. Maybe Gus can keep up the decenty play.

Bah...

A Gus Frerotte at less than 100% could get U G L Y!
