As every year begins, I am always the ultimate optimist. I see the potential, and understand the concerns we all have with the teams needs (OL, DB, etc). Yet, every year there is the team that comes out of nowhere to surprise everyone, and make a strong push into the playoffs, if not the Superbowl, (IE the Panthers 2 years ago with Delhomme at the helm).
Gus has been an effective QB in this league, and I feel has the Skills to do some great things. Unfortunately for him, and I'm sure many of us have felt the same way, he has just been in the wrong places at the wrong times, and never really been given the opportunity to really succeed. He has paid his dues, and been around the league, and will have a breakout Pro Bowl season (ala Rich Gannon). Rich himself was not considered the best of quarterbacks, until all the sudden he breaks out, and leads the Raiders to an unbeleivable season which will mark his legacy. I'm predicting Gus to have the same type of success, and turn in a season to remember for all Fin fans.

You heard it here First!

Peace!

hahahahahahahahahahhhahahahhahahahahahhahaha I just laughed in your face

Gus isnt goin anywhere but the ground behind this O-Line

i'm not even gonna waste my time reading your arguement, i'm just gonna get straight to the point.

YOU ARE DELUSIONAL!!!!!!!!!! SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!

     :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: Muah ha ha ha haaaa!!

Although I wouldn't mind if it happened because it would mean we had a great season...and in the end that's all I want.

Gus,even if he is the starter at the begining of the season,
he will not make the whole year as starter.

Gus rules. Never forget it! Get on the bus Gus, dont need to discuss much. drop off the key feeley, and set yourself free (with another team)

j/k i like feeley, just wish he would get his head out of soccer chicks ars.

Ok dude..which pill did you take? The red one or the blue one?

Ok, I am not going to burn you, or laugh in your face but..............GUS ISINT GOING TO THE PRO-BOWL. I am actually pulling for AJ to start not Gus.

I guess I had to expect the haters to jump on me immediately, to be expected, but if I'm right I can say I was the FIRST and probably ONLY one that made the prediction.
Anyone else wanna come aboard?

By the way, can we get some new interesting posts. Enough about the OL, and the running game, and Mcphearson, etc. At least I gave us something new to talk about, or a different perspective at least. I know the bashers will be writing another OL bashing post any second now, oh wait there it is...

Peace

thank you.. thank you.. really.

i just lost 5 pounds rolling on the floor laughing so hard that it brought tears to my eyes. o my god, that was funny...

:rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: .................

seriously though... Gus has a better chance of making the probowl as a kick returner than a QB.
