Saban already said "Gus is the man".
 
This game will be Frerotte's sink or swim game. If he struggles again, then he will prob be benched and Rosenfels will start for the rest of the season. I would like to see Lemon getting a chance to play in the last game or two.
 
I would be afraid though to start Sage against the defending champs. If Sage is going to get a chance this year, I would rather him start off against a team like the Browns, then a team like the Pats. Sage would probably struggle in his first game.
 
If we run the ball 40 times plus, we win. If not, we lose.
 
it will be a very long day, hopefully Saban will have the balls to pull him if hes losing the game for us

The Pats have one of the worst rushing Defenses in the league. We have to run early and often against them.
 
I have this recurring nightmare in which Linehan calls for a Chambers end-around 3 plays in a row, resulting in 4th and forever. Cut to the booth and Linehan is saying, "Golly, it worked against Denver."

At halftime, Saban has on the nacho hat and tells the guys to prepare for a bunch of double and triple reverses, and the old Statue of Liberty play. "They'll never expect it, so let's just execute. Gus, you're doing great."
 
we match up well with the patriots other than the qb position. they will exploit our secondary and we will have the opportunity to exploit theirs. unfortunately they have brady we have gus. could we borrow aj for just one game from san diego if we promise to give him back next week?
