Don't fall into the hype of Matt Flynn. Remember its more likely hes a disaster than a good QB. We've seen this episode 15 times. Lets not push out Matt Moore just yet. The kid flat out look like he graduated from BALL SO HARD UNIVERSITY once he got used to offense.
 
I like Moore a lot, too. I think Philbin is in the best position to know what Flynn brings to the table.
 
I cant even read your post because im still trying to decipher the title. Is this a reference to the band? Im lost.
 
What band? If you read what I wrote before commenting you would have seen I'm not talking about some band lol

and yes Moore deserves this job, everyones bumping him to the side lines. Watch wel get rid of him and he'll go win a superbowl with the Raiders or some team who hasn't won in so long.

I even think they should re-sign Henne for a year or 2. I don't think he wants to go to a team unless hes the starter. Once he added mobility into his book of tricks he started doing much better. He just got no help from his defense early in the year before he was hurt. Our DB's and Safetys didn't show up until week 7. The lock out really hurt us as far as conditioning.

True but Flynn is going to be franchised and we will have to pay for him. He's not worth what we will have to give up.

He will NOT be franchised.
 
If Flynn is signed here, I am assuming its because Philbin is pushing for him and knows exactly what he can bring to the table and will be use to the offense Philbin will want to run. Also, if Flynn is signed he would more then likely win the job from Moore. Just because Moore finished the season strong am I in no way just handing him the starting job. Henne, for what I can tell will more then likely be gone out of Miami. I can see him going to the Jets, or possibly to the Seahawks or Chiefs.
 
I think Henne will go to a team who needs a starting QB. He won't want to go somewhere where hes going to be a back up. He knows he can start in his mind. I talked to him recently and this is what he told me.
 
Bad QBs dont throw for 500 yards and 6 TDs in a game.
 
Just like you are saying dont fall into the hype, how dow you know that he is more likely to be a disaster than a good Qb? I'm not saying he is going to be either one of those but Philbin has seen him everyday at practice and knows what he can do. We saw him in 2 games and he played good. If Philbin thinks he is good enough to be our starter then I suppoert that and if he dont I support that too. I agree that he may not turn out to be that QB that we wanted him to be but then again he could. For all of the bad things that you can say about him you could also say good, like he has learned from Aaron Rodgers his entire first contract and learnd how to be an NFL QB. For all of those guys like Feely their are also guys like Schab and Brady.
 
If the Packers franchise him cant they trade him? I'm not too sure on the rules on franchising players. Plenty of people are going to want to go after Flynn. If they tag him and trade him they could probably get some picks out of it rather than lose him to free agency.

They could but in reality they would take a huge risk because they would have to pay him more than Rodgers and if no one is willing to trade with them they are stuck.
 
If we're going to take somebody from the Packers I'd rather take Finley than Flynn, then go after a QB in the draft. I'd like to see us get RG3, but if that's not in the cards I wouldn't mind looking at Weeden, Oswieler, or Foles in round dos.
