The doom and gloom must end. We are still in the playoff hunt missing our best player! We have the toughest schedule in the league! We have played the top 3 teams in NO Indy and San Diego. We are at 500! This year may not be "the" year, but with a good draft, next year could be special.
 
I don't have doom and gloom. This squad showed me something yesterday. Resilience, pride, toughness. Things that Dolphin teams in the past have lacked. I am actually pretty excited about this team for the next two weeks and into the future.
 
No doom and gloom here. We all knew it was going to be a tough year. But I like what I see. A team that won't give and has the talent to beat anybody. We have a quite a few young guys that are making young guys mistakes, but they come to play and the experience they gained this year will eliminate most of those mistakes in the future. I like what I see from this team.
 
Cheers to that! I'm already pumped for this years draft!

Heck maybe I will go so I will be able to meet our new #1 receiver!!! Oh sorry, I just woke up from some ridiculous dream.
 
the forums are always a roller coaster after a loss... enter at your own risk... the truth is even through all the silliness I still prefer a passionate fanbase.

The doom and gloom makes me smile... especially when it turns to unconditional love the very next week...

One Monday we should blow the team up... A week later, plan the parade.
 
If it wasn't for a bunch of season ending injuries I think we'd easily have the wildcard spot locked up.
 
I was there too man was it a great comeback. Henne showed some star qualities and rookie mistakes. Playoffs or no playoffs I cannot wait until next season.

I agree 100% with perhaps a slight tweak. I don't mind nerdy level rationalism either so long as it is backed up with some smart analysis. But the drama with the entire phins nation is part of the whole fun of being a fan. But even the OP and those like him play an important role.
 
Its really odd to know however slim there is still hope.

In many previous seasons, the phins would start hot and by Early Nov, the annual swoon had begun.

By Early Dec, I'd be "hoping" they could hold on and salvage something.

The last 2 seasons have been encouraging. Like most, If upgrades are made @ ILB & S) as well as Henne continuuing to progress then future is very bright.

There will probably be some growing pains next year. There is no reason IMO why the phins can't go deep into the playoffs in the 2011 season.
 
And "IF" the rumors about Austin Miles are true........WOW!!! I know it's wayyy early to be daydreamin,but if we land a #1 like him or Boldin? JUST WOW!!!

thats what im talkin about.. tell me another team that has lost its starting qb,rb,nt,cb and pushing for the playoffs..
 
The thing that worries me about drafting a #1 WR is he'll become a bust a la Ginn. In the Trifecta we trust, I guess.
