guys i must vent a little here!!! first of all we have a good team and we will be fine this year!!! but let me start by saying this...i am sick and tired of hearing how good capers was going to bea with his so called (exotic 3-4 blitzes) give me a freakin break!!!!!! I sat and watched charlie freakin batch pick us apart last night because we were running so many "delayed blitzes"!!!!!!!!!!!!! pitt would come up on the line with 6..7...even 8 men and be damn near offside trying to come after pepp!!! what did we do? well we would count one thousand 1.... one thousand two and then send a safety or backer from 15 damn yards and by then the ball is gone...hell i could get a pass off if we are blitzing from what looks like punt return formation!!!!!!! I'm sorry guys but last night was not pepps fault..hell if you have to pass from known passing situations vs the superbowl champs then we were screwed at that point! guys we will face better quarterbacks than batch this year and if we are gonna blitz please come hard are not at all!!!:fire:

we didnt play well in the 4th quarter, thats true..but we played the steelers..not some cupcake team..you we see a better dolphins team against buffalo

Relax, take a qualude or something. THe obvious difference, is that our LB corps is not built for pass rushing like the Steelers. Plus, they have a great offensive line, they won the superbowl with a great line and a great defense, remember? :shakeno:

Its only one game but Ive been saying that our Blitz packages were terrible since game 2 of the preseason, we never get any pressure, why that is I dont know.

It just makes the secondary look worse when you blitz and dont get there, because there will be an open man

We have brand new coaches, a new quarterback, new offensive line, brand new secondary... People need to relax and learn that it takes time for these things to mesh together. Put all of this together against the defending champions and it shouldn't be a complete surprise what happened last night. Just relax.

By the start of the 4th quarter, our defense looked slow and tired....then again they were on the field so long....offense had better get their act together or it's going to be a long season.
