I have reason to believe Parcells is trying to get to the playoffs....NOW...

look,he kept Beck,brought in McCown,and brought in VET.s during the FA period and sured a big part of the O-Line....

However,for those of you concerned,Parcells is also bringing in young guys aswell,so I think he wants to get to the playoffs now,but still builds/grooming talent for the future....

Cause guys,with the Fasano and Adwale(spell check) trade,he sured up 2 NEEDED positions,and made our draft....THAT MUCH EASIER

And these moves will only encourage me to watch the draft more.....WITH A PASSION!!!

BTW...everyone who has a sig of their own projection of the draft,take the 4th pick out...lol

Another BTW....I think since were missing two round(4th and 5th),Parcells is looking for IMPACT PLAYERS in rounds 2 and 3....
 
yea that tight end we got has some potential and the linebacker is going to be a solid starter for us.
 
Lets not get TOO excited yet.

I agree, BP is living up to his reputation... crap we're going to have 50% of a new team by the time the season starts... We are definitely not going to be as bad as last year. I HOPE you're right... I hope we make the playoffs... but I just want to get to .500 first

If we get some combo of OLB/DE, OG, CB, WR on day one, I'll be thrilled.
 
We got 2 starters for a 4th rounder that most likely would not crack the starting line up for atleast a year or 2 if ever. Great Trade.
 
When you're young and re-building, you want to bring in good players - period. This trade fills two needs, thus allows Parcells to draft strictly by selecting the best player available. When you have to draft to fill needs, you're much more apt to reach.
 
Fasano was a high pick drafted in 06,him and Akin for a
fourth and you have 2 starters.This man knows how to put
it together.
