Mathews and Hogan better make the roster before Moore and Pruitt.

The only problem with Devlin is that Green Bay kept only 2 QB's last year. Philbin's mind set may be the same as that's what he know's and maybe prefers. If that's the case its RT and MM.

Good point, but both Moore and Garrard are on 1 year contracts which definitely helps Devlin's case.

Mathews, Kaddu, Egnew, Cunningham. 3 of them will probably make this team because they were draft picks. Cutting too many of them makes Ireland look really bad, and he will not let that happen.

Hogan, Fuller, and Thigpen probably should make the team, but they were not drafted which generally means practice squad unless you are in the Devon Bess mold. If this happens we may lose all of them, Imo.

Unfortunately, I think front office politics is going to hurt us here.

If you're talking about the practice squad you might be right. No one has sealed up a spot yet out of those guys.

Would like to see more of the WRs mixed with different QBs. How about Hogan with the 1s next game to see if he can separate from top CBs. Because Wallace and Moore certainly cant.

I like Mathews game. Why hasnt he played against better units?

As far as the receiver i think Ireland had it right when he said we have lots of 4 , 5 and 6 receivers. What we need is a couple 1 , 2 and 3 guys.
I don't see them. Bess is a 3 (slot) and a good one. Hartline maybe a two. That's it and that is a real problem especially if we go with the rookie QB.

All the other guys have some talent but no one has made the team so it will probably come down to special teams ability. That's what has keep Wallace on the squad. it's certainly not his ability to separate.

I would pretty much guarantee all those names aren't making the final roster. Fortunes come and go quick in the preseason. Roberto went from emerging to goat in just a week.

Another guy who stood out was Samuda. He played the entire 2nd half. He seems to really know what he's doing out there. He also looks to really be taking to the center position.
