Punter Matt Haack has had a few really good games and some shockers, like his last game against the Chiefs, where he wasn't getting the distance. The Dolphins have had pretty steady reliable punters over the years and I'm surprised that Haack has been so unreliable. I don't understand why. Welcome feedback. I think that Darr was more reliable.

He'll probably get another year to show consistency

Feels like every time he’s been out there he only kicks it 35 yards or so. But then his average going into yesterday’s game was like 44+ so go figure.

Expendable player playing an expendable position. Too inconsistent. Time for a change.

Those aren't shockers. He's often bad more than he's decent. Miami didn't need to replace Darr to save some chump change.

Agree he has been bad but I thought Darr faded 2nd half of the season last year. Haack outplayed him in pre season. All this said, get a new punter for next year. Kicker, however, Parkey can come back :)

This guy is straight trash. He needs to be the first guy cut. It's pretty bad when a punter is my most hated player on the team.

Darr did have a bad second half of '16 and was ripe for losing his job. Didn't think we'd have to endure a replacement as awful as Haack tho. He's as good as gone.

Agree. Teams who have winning seasons usually have good kickers. For the life of me I still don't know why Miami chose Haack over Darr. Darr was good.

Be careful.......it's like an attorney, you don't need one until you need one.
