I believe that he is a second year guard who played at LSU in college. He played in NFLE last year.
 
Also, rookie Josh Davis and second-year player Maurice Mann have looked strong. Saban touted Mann during his press conference on Monday.

He said he's gonna hold onto them until Spielman gets a GM job and then get a bunch of picks in a trade.
 
Although I love reading the reports from training camp (thx to all who take the time) I can't wait for the HOF game so that I can see for myself how the players look

Then again, how many times have coaches raved about one of our "camp surprises" only to find that player get cut in the end.

Kicker Olindo Mare made seven straight field goals to end the day. Apparently his final attempt, from 58 yards, determined whether the team would run sprints or not. When it went through the uprights, the team screamed and ran to congratulate Mare.

I love it!!!! Put the kicker in a pressure situation with the whole team breathing down his neck. Mare drills it!!!! I only hope it was the injuries that hurt Mare that past couple of years and he's back to his old self this year.

I was about to post the same thing. I loved the way saban put pressure on mare.
