Hadnot Working Hard

Though Hadnot is a decent center, he is a much better guard, particularly RG which he clearly demonstrated when playing the position year before.I also think it can greatly aid in Samson's development playing right next to someone experienced at the position and familiar with the tendencies and patterns of the returning O-linemen. Let's hope he Hadnot can offer some hefty doses of good advice that can help this year's O-line to gel QUICKLY!

All I remember about Hadnot at guard was all of the false start penalties he had. Hopefully he's overcome them and can excel. Nice read btw...thanks for the link.

He did get a good amount of false starts... but when he wasnt getting false starts... he was extremely impressive at RG...

I hope Coach Houck is going all out to get this O-line ready for prime time ... in Week 1 against the Redskins in Washington. I don't want to have to wait til midseason before they "gel" either.

I like hearing about how they're all working hard on their conditioning and they are communicating with each other a lot. They need to get in that film room together and forget about egos and all that. They need to just identify weaknesses in their game and get to work on finding solutions. Leave nothing to chance.

The opposing team defensive coordinators are going to be working overtime to try to find weaknesses in our O-line. Our guys need to work even harder to minimize those weaknesses ... right there in the huddle between plays in "real time" if necessary. The games are usually won and lost in the trenches and our guys need to be intelligent, physical, and adaptable trench warriors. Whatever they throw at us, our O-line will make adjustments to it quickly and find the answers that will put points on the board. :D

I figured that he was a quality lineman and they figured the only way to stop the false starts was to put the ball in his hands....

Nativeone...not Rex Grossman, we are talking about Rex Hadnot

i have a good feeling about are oline, not sure if its pure homerism though.
