I realize that Welker has great hands and heart, and that Campbell has speed and rapport with D.C. Aromashodu seems to have skills but Hagan could be really special. I predict that he will be the #2 WR in 2007. Hagan slipped to the third round of the draft because of his poor showing at the senior bowl; which was stated several times by many sports analysts. So what! He is young and probably just had a really off day. Not only did he seem to catch well in mini camp, but he also appears to have better wheels than I thought; especially after the catch. How could he have such a great collage career at Arizona State if he could not catch the ball? He was a great reciever for Arizona and he will also be for the Dolphins an that is why Saban drafted him. Hagan should have at least went at the end of the first or in the second round of the draft. I am very glad he signed and will be in camp on Saturday!

IMO Hagan should be our #3 WR this year and campbell should be #4.:dolphins::dolphins::dolphins:

He is a big target with very realiable hands. He had a lot of drops in the Sr. week, but he was big at gametime for ASU. He would make a very nice #3 WR. However, I'm very comfortable with all 3 of the guys trying to win that posistion. I like this battle and it should be one of the most intriguing battles of camp.

I agree, Hagan will be a great reciever and should be the 3rd reciever this year, and campbell should be the 4th and welker can focuse on returning kicks.

I think Welker and Hagan will split the time at the #3 position.

Maybe we should wait and see what the man can do in a training camp before annointing him as starting quality yet.

I have hopes for him too but really, this goes beyond jumping the gun.

So is predicting that Allen be our starting Saftey as a rookie coming off a hip dislocation any different? :dolphins:

To me it is.
These guys haven't proven that they can do a damn thing in the NFL.

They are both high draft picks so I expect them to contribute in some way but to say that they should both be starters right now without having seen them do anything yet is jumping the gun quite a bit.

This is how all the "Matt Roth is a bust" type of threads come to be. Expecting too much out of a rookie that more than likely will need time to develop.

Then you are saying that all the analysts predicting that Allen will start are jumping the gun?:dolphins:

I hope Welker gets his time... in reality, he is the only one that has been CONSISTENT!!! Yes Chambers did great last year toward the end but he was not consistent throughout the season like Welker. Welker doesnt have the ability or speed Chambers does so its obvious he shouldnt be a #1 or even #2 but he doesnt deserve to be completely out of the starting line up either!! When Chambers and McMichael had the dropsies during the first half of the season, Welkers hands were always reliable. He deserves to be a starter.... just my opinion.
