Dang!

Hagan did also have a pass go off his hands and get picked too. I'm not trying to burst the bubble, but that did happy. I'm happy with Hagan though. For all the talk of us possibly going Holmes/Jackson, I'll take Hagan where we got him.

He also torched #5 ranked LSU (7 receptions, 95 yds) and #13 ranked UCLA (7 receptions, 97 yds, TD)

I'm very impressed with this pick...

Dude Hagan WILL be our #3 reciever this year with a possibility of our coaching staff turning him into a #2 by next year and Booker sliding to #3.His only downside was having a poor showing in the senior bowl and not "impressing" all with his hands at the combine. All else shows him as good as any reciever(if not BETTER) in the draft.

I am impressed too.I hope this becomes a third round steal trend for our impressive head coach over the years.

I wouldn't call USC a great defense. Nonetheless, we got an absolute steal with Hagan in the 3rd. This guy was a bonafide 1st rounder if you ask me and was a great pick by Saban and co. I'm thrilled with our first day and can't wait to see Allen and Hagan on the field in Aqua!

He was my 3rd rated receiver and to pick him up in the 3rd round is a minor steal.

His production numbers are great and he did show up against good defenses(LSU & UCLA) and in big games(USC)

i've watched Hagan at Arizona State for a few years and the kid is a player. he stepped up huge for them when Shaun McDonald left, he is used to a vertical passing game (because thats pretty much all ASU runs is deep passes and some dinky stuff to the tight ends). he's got some swagger, and shows up for the big games, i know he constantly showed up against my Wildcats.

very good pick in the third saban did his homework once again even though i could not belive that holmes was there when we picked and we passed him up and then the steelers move up and snag him but im happy with this pick i knew we needed to draft a wr...
