both of these guys are thought to be pretty speedy guys.
Speed is definately needed to return kicks.

These guys could learn a lot from hester though, sometimes you have to wait for the lane to open up. That was one of welkers biggest problems I thought, he seemed to just crank it full throttle til he got laid out.

Do you think one of these two guys sees any time returning kicks this year.

I think between the two of them, we could at least see good starting field position.

Well they signed Kelly Campbell today who is a return guy, and they may address this in the draft as well, But I don't believe we will see either one returning for us...

Huh? When did we sign him?

Hagan is anything but fast. He may be the slowest receiver we have. I'm hoping we can steal RFA Maurice Hicks away from the 49ers. I heard Miami has interest in him. He would be a great return guy and back-up rb.

hagan is not slow by any means though hes a possesion guy an will not return kicks he ran a 4.41 at the combine last year 3rd fastes time of any reciever behind aramashodu and chad jackson

Really. That's a phenomenal time for him. He plays a lot slower than that time.

Evry place I look lists a different 40 time. But NFL.com lists his time as 4.42, same as Marcus Vick. Not too shaby. But returning punts/kicks is about instincts and I don't know if either of these guys has what it takes.

Welker wasnt a speedy guy either just very quick. Welker was clocked in the 40 at 4.6 coming in the nfl. Vick has been groomed to be our return guy, hopefully that developement has worked.

Derek Hagan, I think is highly thought of by the dolphins. I think they are looking for him to win that possession Reciever position from Booker. And it will probably draft a speed guy to groom behind Chambers like Jason Hill. Booker and Chambers will be their last years together if one of them dont get released before the year starts. And Hagan does have speed, he ran a 4.4 coming to the NFL.

Derek Hagan and Donte Stallworth or Jason Hill may be our near future tandem.

Actually, Campbell was brought in last year to bolster the return game, but got injured and never was able to show much....He was a decent KR guy in the past.
