I liked what I saw from him last year, I think he's ready to start as a 3rd reciever, anyone else have some input as to if they think he's ready? With Booker about to be gone, is that also a sign he's looking like he's ready?

I look for him to improve this year. Consistancy is the key for him.

personally I think he sux. Drops too many balls and is too slow.

yeah thats sorta my thought, i was just asking cuz i have such limited stuff to base a thought on him.

I would more like to know what his projected role will be this next year but its tough to gauge with such limited experience

He's a poor man's Chris Chambers: bigger, a tad slower, worse hands.

this is the year we will know what we have, he was pretty outstanding in college, but we really haven't seen any of that yet.

Wow, only one year in this league, and he already sucks. What's worse? He actually put up good stats.

He does not have worse hands than chambers, come on now people. Also Hagan is not slow, I dunno what you guys are seeing but he has decent speed and he's certainly faster than booker. Plus he is the one WR on our roster that showed he could separate from a DB to make the catch, even though he ended up dropping the pass :/.

I personally believe Hagan can become a SOLID and very productive #2 WR. With Hagan and Chambers skill sets, Cameron will make ways for them to make plays. Booker is a reliable WR, I wouldn't want to see him go this offseason.

This guy is the reason I think Marty Booker is expendable. Hagan is ready to be a starter IMO. He had a few problems with drops last year but who didn't on our team? I think with another year and a new WR coach under his belt, he can have a 50+ catch 700 yard year.

Slow? The guy was constantly wide open. I really put down the drops to the fact that he only worked with Lemon, so he didn't mesh with C-Pep or Harrington all that well. Even still he showed flashes; the season opener at the Steelers he caught a laser from C-Pep while toeing the sideline just inside the first down marker and showed the presence of mind to get to that marker before stepping out. I don't know if he's ready to start (#3 isn't a starting WR anyway), but if he is then off-load Book.
