I went to his page to check out his stats, and look what it reads under the "2008" headline:

In the Chiefs first game of the 2008 season, Bowe recorded five receptions for forty–nine yards, but he also dropped 4 passes, including a game–tying catch in the endzone on first and goal.[5] He went on to obtain 1,022 yards receiving and ended the season 10th in the NFL with 86 receptions (the same number of receptions Jerry Rice had in his second year, though he earned more yards). In his last game of the 2008 season Bowe gained 103 yards with 10 receptions. On October 16, Bowe was traded to the Miami Dolphins for a 2nd, 5th, and Matt Roth.

I just checked it out and it's really there. If this is true then I will be jumping for joy and I also believe the trade the Jets made for Braylon Edwards showed the front office what an impact a #1 receiver can have in a game and for your quarterback.

Man I really hope this turns out to be true
 
No, its completely false. It's also posted in the wrong section. That's the thing about wikipedia - all you need to edit pages is a username/login. Anyone can put anything and it eventually gets fixed in most cases.

It's definitely false, I just thought it was a little bit funny.
 
I saw an IGN forum that said that it kept changing throughout the night, causing them to lock the page. Other teams who have showed up on there were the Ravens and the Vikings. However, the Dolphins one is still up there after the page got locked, so who knows.

I remember that at one point Roth's page said that he was rumored to be gay in high school.
 
I'm glad it's not true...2nd, 5th and Roth for Bowe is way too much.

Hopefully it comes true. Would gladly give that up for a player of his quality.
 
I'm sure it didn't happen but if for some reason it did it could be a 2010 5th round pick.
 
Not sure i would be against such a trade. Roth, although i love his intensity isn't a game changer IMHO. Proof....ummm we have one of the top rated rush defenses and he isn't even PLAYING for us right now. Use him as trade bait if need be.....i don't like giving up a second rd pick, but Bowe is a sure thing as far as WR. Imagine Ginn/Bowe/Camarillo/Bess/Hartline/Bess as our WR core?

Roth being part of the deal would actually make quite a bit of sense. KC are awful against the run and Roth would go along way in tightening things up for them. As already mentioned our rush D has performed well without him so getting something for him now would be smart.

I know its only speculation but, that trade would make sense to me anyway.
 
We can't trade him tho until the 20th am I correct?

Which means maybe there is truth to this but it just can't be finalized until the 20th.

I'd probably rush right out and get me a Bowe jersey. But I'm not going to get my hopes up.
 
I would take that trade. Won't happen, but I'd take it. Pretty amusing though that it showed up on Wiki.
