for all those of you that want him in a fins jersey next year......wow he look great today...NOT! ya right he got hurt..he got out of there before his stats got even worse. now i know or defence is pretty good but when the fins defence gives up 300 yards passing to bollinger...and mcnair doesnt do anything, ya something has to tell u he doesnt have anything left. i think he should just retire after this year before he embarasses himself. so just say no to mcnair.

o come on now, just cause i could name more then 10 starting qbs that are better then mcnair and because mcnair is washed up...dont need to get all mad about it.

McNair has a 50 year olds body. He's a warrior and once was a top 10QB in the league, but i am starting to think he is done.

McNair hasn't been the same since his MVP couple years ago, in my opinion. He was actually have a pretty decent season this year, but I don't think he has anything left in the tank, but even those his body is worn down from his injury history... he's still 32 (about to turn 33) and probably not as old as some people may have thought.

so everyone is gonna judge the guy on 1 game, the 1 game that was his worst game of his career(stats wise).

disregarding the fact that he has been really good this year with a bad football team around him?

ok question for you then...what do consider haveing a good year. i mean i have watched him all year and the only reason he has that 62% comp. rate is cause his passes the ball to the tight ends and running backs for 3 yard games. thats why they didnt win to many games. they brought in volek and what happens...hits bennett for a long one....bennett hasnt had a td like that all year. so i dont think u can look at him at all having a good year unless i missed something:confused:

Well it really doesn't matter if your YPA is still about a yard higher than Gus' completion percentage...

By the way anyone else interested in Josh McCown? I certainly am intrigued...

Wow. So harsh.

You know what McNair's career QB rating is?

83.6

You know what his rating THIS year is before today?

85.3.

I first of all don't understand why you show so much glee in your post.... did he run over your dog or something?

And second, when the guy you are making fun has a TEN POINT higher career rating than our quarterback and a FIFTEEN point higher rating than our quarterback this year.... maybe you shouldn't throw stones.

I don't see how a 15 point jump in rating (which is enormous) would be bad.

Not saying McNair is our first choice, but why you made this post, I don't know.

hrmmm..........

Steve McNair - 6.75 Yards per Attempt

Billy Volek - 5.85 Yards per Attempt

as for your asumption that McNair hasnt hit Bennet long this year. . .

Hes had 3 catches for over 40 yards before today, 41 yards, 43 yards, and 53 yards. All thrown from McNair.

his pass today was for 55, but id say 53 yarder is close enough to not say he hasnt had one like that all year.

Yards per attempt this year:

Gus Ferotte 6.07

Steve McNair 6.75

So... you're wrong.
