Haha, Ok. Part III of my "Lists": The Top 10 WORST Miami Dolphins of all Time

10. A.J. Feeley 7...Quarterback (2004-2005)...Isn't it amazing how a certain player can be absolutely amazing for one team, than come to the Dolphins and absolutely suck? A.J. Feeley is a perfect example. This prettyboy wannabe pretty much saved the Eagles season in 2003 going 5-1 as a starter in replace of Donovan McNabb when he broke his leg, than was brought over to Miami thanks to our genious GM Rick Spielman at the time.

Whoa whoa whoa, hyperbole alert. AJ Feely was never "amazing" in Philly. His play was functional, but the 5-1 record was largely due to the play of the defense and special teams. The offense averaged about 60 yards a game less with Feely (though the team's scoring was relatively the same...sort of hinting that it wasn't all the offense setting up the scoring).

Nor should he be on this list. Oh, he was downright terrible, sure, but a lot of your argument seems to blame him for the fact that a draft pick was wasted on him. Brian Griese played worse, and I don't see why this guy was on the list at all. the 2004 Dolphins were miserable all around, and Feely wasn't even the worst starter on the TEAM. So how can he make the top ten of this list?

If you ever see a tape of the "Miracle in the Meadowlands" you'll see him chasing 5 yards behind Wayne Chrebet on many occasions.

He wasn't a starter for us but was on the field whenever teams spread the field. Opposing offenses regularly looked for him, found him and burnt him to a crisp toast.
Sheer torture watching him.

I dont know if I should laugh or cry. Funny cause it brings back explicit memories. ..sad cause it brings back explicit memories:boohoo:

Cecil Collins has to top this list. Also, Ray Lucas was a tough pill to swallow, but at least we didnt give up a second rounder for him like we did Feeley.

Shouldn't be on this list, but I would like to remind everybody we had James "McFumble" on our team.

Nothing soured me more on him than the bobble-cum-interception that led to a Jets touchdown in that 2001 shutout. That was a huge momentum shifter early in the game.

Pathetic List.

Sammy Smith can't be on that list.

He played great in a playoff game which led to a win (KC).

he then played great in a Div. Playoff loss to Buffalo.

A guy that had two very good playoff performances...CANNOT be on this list.

The list is not well thought out at all.

Jimmy Johnson should be on the list, no question. That was the beginning of the downward spiral that we've been experiencing over the last 10 years. Took away what Marino did best (audible), never got that running game he promised, didn't get to the super bowl in three years as promised, and worst of all, stuck us with Dave Wanstedt after he left. I'll give him credit for drafting Zach and JT, but the negatives he brought to the team far outweigh any positives that he brought.

Jimmy Johnson brought us the most talented drafts we've seen in years.

If not for him, we would not have had that dominating defense we've had for the past decade.

He also brought us to the playoffs. Something we haven't done in six years.

Any "worst ever" list that does NOT have Paul Lankford/William Judson on it is simply wrong. They were the WORST starting corner tandem in league history, simply terrible.

Not placing Billy Milner or Andrew Greene on this list is wrong also. Greene was a 2nd rounder who never saw the damn field. That 1995 draft was a disaster.

Yatil Green was unlucky, so was Bosa. In fact, like has been mentioned before in this list, Bosa was a really good football player who simply could not stay healthy. Eric Kummerow and Bosa do not belong together. Kummerow was a massive reach, the guy was a stiff. Yatil never got a chance because of injury. Injury should not place you any "worst ever" list.

Where is Eddie Blake (2nd rounder), Rick Graf (2nd rounder) and Jackie Shipp (1st rounder)? All of these stiffs, along with Judson/Lankford and Kummerow belong on a "worst ever" list LONG before guys like Feeley, Sammie Smith, Yatil Green and Ricky Williams.

BTW, everyone saying Jimmy Johnson belongs onthis list needs to take a look at what he brought here and what followed. He looks pretty damn good in my opinion.

Define "played great"

I've seen you defend this guy before and it amazes me.

A number 9 overall pick that was expected to be a franchise back has 2 enigma performances and that makes a career? Again, the man was 9th overall, expected to be our franchise back to compliment Marino and should have put up regular performances like the couple you mentioned above.

He was one of our biggest draft busts ever without question.

Excellent start to a list, but there's easily some others that would make worthy additions. Don't let the Ricky apologists / weed lovers get you down! :dolphins:

Neither playoff performance was earthshattering as you are trying to imply (not like Lamar Smith's 2000 game against the Colts), and I don't see why someone having a few good playoff games in a season that ended early means they "can't be on the list". Look at the dudes career...he belongs here.

What a nonsense post. You didn't even expand on your problems with the list outside of Sammie Smith. Better luck next time (and I didn't even make the damn list)
