I didn't get to see the game, living in Arkansas. I missed the low-lightes, too......somehow. I must have seen every one but ours.

Excuse me if i missed a lot.....but please, why are we running a half-back pass for a 2 point conversion against houston?

We have been talking about this all day, but yet noone knows the answer why...

?????

the play did fool the texans but ronnie is not a qb, it seems like mularkey rather see ronnie throw the ball than run it

i think mularkey has a phobia of running the ball

This is probably the best answer to this question so far!

that is the only way to describe it, against tennessee we kept at the run, we were getting some yards but we kept at it, and then ronnie breaks the big one

in order to get the ball down field you have to show committment to the run

and so far we have not committed to it

That is so true...I just looked under my avy and saw Dan Marino and I din't put that...that's awesome....Dan Marino is the title you get after SuperBowl MVP!!!

I don't know why people are questioning the play. Texas fell for it. It would have worked had both Welker and Booker not slipped and fell on their *****.

We're just so desperate for a win. We should've done something more text book, so people wouldn't really be questioning...why the screen pass to Ronnie, or why CC in the corner, or why not a DC run....all of those wouldn't have p1ssed us off as much even if the result were the same..............................nah, we'd still be pissed!!!

Nobody knows the answer to that question including the coaches.

Its not a bad play around the end zone ... just not for a 2 point conversion. Teams probably throw the ball 80% or more on 2 point conversions so your less people attacking the line of scrimage. On a first and goal from the 5, I would be that play works great. Just another example of bad play calling IMO.

when watching this i thought about the scene in the movie the waterboy when adam sandler goes to see the coach about a job and henry winkler is drawing a play

here is mularkey in some of his play calling:

he gives the ball, no he doesnt give the ball, the wide reciever runs all the way over their to the left

once the quarterback gets the ball he fakes to his left, no he fakes to the right

he doesnt fake, he thinks about faking, he pretends to fake

help me i dont know where iam.

Actually it was brilliant. Booker was wide open for about 2-3 secs then Brown threw it to him to late.

wasnt brillant at all. it was flat out dumb.

Its called Freak Show Mularkey and his cleverishly desiged schemes and schematics.

lets use our punter next time to throw a 80 yard in route to chambers. that will fool dem defenses real well. :sidelol:

sorry but ronnie should have man'd up and said F you moolarkey i'm runnin over some ppl to get the tie. after all i run ball i'm a RUNNING BACK. not a passing back. (who cares if booker was open for 2-3 seconds he's not a passer, your chances to suceed are slim to none cuz he runs the ball he doesn't pass. thats what a qb is supposed to do...mularkey hasn't figured that out. you know what positions are supposed to do.)

we could get one of the cheerleaders to send in on some blitzes. its sure to get em good.

ok i'm done. i don't care what anyone says mularkey sucks and theres' a reason he ruined the bills so fast. and he ruined the comeback against the texans

Hey I said the same thing but Ronnie didnt have to Roll out. Booker was wide open for about 3 secs.
