i am a die hard fin fan and its killing me to see so many of my fellow fin fans be so critical.we sould support are team to the fullest.its only week one fella's as long as we show improvement ill be happy.just think about it.next yr everyone will hate mia when we sign every great player in free agency and r the team to watch with all that mula we are gonna have...keep ur heads up..

I agree there is too much negativity. But with the burn from last year we felt still in our minds I almost understand it. To a point. Some of the threads are ridiculous. As much as it hurt to lose sunday, I havent had that feeling of hope that I had in the last two minutes in a loing time. Even if it did turn to heatbreak. But hey we are Dolphins Fans. We are used to it. We can hanle it. It'll make it so much better when we do win!! (Im also a sox fan so I have experience in this)

One more thought. I think this team will resemble Saban's in the respect that we will get better as the season's progression and go on a run later in the season.

My suggestion has always been... divide the season in 4 game sections and then evaluate after each section... only then do you get a true picture of the development (or lack of) in the team and staff...

This game by game deal just doesn't paint the real and big picture... imo

Hey, at least we made it to OT in our opener last year. I mean, you'd be hard pressed to tell a difference, thus far, between this team for the opener and last year's team for the opener.

Well, our offense was actually relevant early on last year, but other than that, I really saw no difference.

I agree also, way too much negativity.

I can understand the disappoinment, as I am also feeling it. Many of us bought into the hype of a new beginning, and just expected more. We do have a new direction and a new beginning, but it may take another year to fully get there.

Keep your chin up. We may not be contenders yet, but the day will come within the not too distant future, when we will be winners, and we can once again enjoy beating our rivals.

I can't wait to rub the jets, pats and bills fans noses in our dirt. It will happen. Just think how rewarding that will be.

I like this idea.. I think I may adopt it myself.

But referring to the 'negativity' of the OP. It's just the way this forum is. As long as I've been a member people come here to vent, or rejoice. But that is the spirit of having a forum. And let's be honest, no-one is going to join a forum and be a daily contributer unless they are truly a fan. It doesn't make them less of a fan if they're negative. It's all just opinion. Some are rediculous, but many make very valid points.

Just ignore those you don't like. It's not that hard.

This is "Be Positive" thread number 42133522344. Although I agree with the point's you have made, these threads deserve a merge or something. Half the people on this forum are "Oh my, the sky is falling" fans, the other half are "Calm the hell down" fans. And yes 4 game sections would be great, it's pretty hard to conclude anything after 1 or 2 games. And like Canadianfishfan said, it's all just opinion.

FACTS:
Jets had a scout at our practices.
Jets know exactly how to contain Pennington.
The game came down to the last play.

Pretty impressive if you ask me! Considering we have a NEW team, first year head coach and against a good Jets team.

And throw in a few starting rookies, a QB that hasnt been here a month, the youngest recieving core in the league, the youngest O-line in the league, the youngest D-line in the league...I was pleased with what I saw Sunday, am I dissappointed, ofcourse but my wife told me she hasnt seen me yell at the tv during a Dolphin game in a long time and still be optimistic after the game. Yeah I still believe...
