I was at the game today and disgusted to see half the seats empty out by the 4th quarter. Is this the appreciation we show a team that played their ***** off all year? It's the last game of the season -- I think they deserved a standing ovation as they walked off the field.

What just because they didn't win the superbowl, they don't deserve any applause or thanks for their efforts? The greatest one season turn around and the last game half the fans walk out in disgust? They got you a home playoff game! -- ARE YOU SERIOUS?? I'm embarrassed to say this but a lot of Miami fans ****ing suck!! I hope all you bandwagons who showed up today stay home next season, I would rather see an orange seat than have you sitting there.

I think most fans appreciate what this team accomplished. In a perfect world, all the fans stay until the end and give the Fins a well deserved ovation. However, tell me a time you remember home fans sticking around in a game that turns into a blowout. Dolfans were solid most of the year and we actually TOOK OVER Giantes Stadium last weekend!!!!

Maybe in basketball but with the NFL sized crowds, no way they all stay until the game is over to cheer the team off. In fact, the last time I saw something like that happen was when the Spurs/Cavs played in Game 4 of the Finals 2 years ago.

I can't complaint it was the 4th quarter and we had just gotten intercepted a 3rd time..and I would still hear FANS chanting DEFENSE!

I just felt a bit jilted.. I mean they got us all the way to a home playoff game from one win the season before. How many great memories did they give us this season, how many greats games and wins?

..AND I'm not talking under 5 minutes left to play. I seen people filing out in MASS loads half way into the 3rd quarter once they got that 2nd touchdown. I mean they were down 17 sure, but the game is far from over. It's the playoffs anything can happen still!! To what?, beat a little traffic, it just seemed completely ungrateful from my perspective.

Got to agree with you. It hurt me to see that.

I was at the game and I was proud of our fans. It was the most amazing energy I have ever felt at that stadium. They were totally into it. I left after McGahee's long run. Why? Because it took two hours to just get out of the parking lot and on to the Turnpike. That is why fans always leave this stadium early. If you have any hope of getting your kids back home at a reasonable time etc. you make the move. Honest to God someone has got to do something about that. It is horrible.

I left with about 6 minutes left, just to beat the traffic. But there were at least 20k people that left early.

1/4 the stadium was empty al game!!!!

I made a thread about how if a team can't fill a stadium for a playoff game it
should be moved but the mods deleted it.

No heart.

Why should people stay to watch the beatdown? The NFL is a business. I already paid for admission, and I am getting no joy out of watching it.

You really think the players care about respect? They want to win because they make more money.

You make the same if you win or lose buddy.

Small playoff bonus.

i do have to admit that i was disappointed to see the stadium as empty as it was in the 3rd&4th quarters...being a father myself i understand getting your kids back home and getting dinner, baths, and such, plus trying to beat traffic...but at least stay and support the team...they deserve it after the season we just had....
