what a huge difference a coach makes, people say that coaches have very little role during the games. but it's obvious that the phins are headed in the right direction under Nicky.

It feels good to have some confidence in the coaching staff doing things the right way. But really, its just common sense. This is how you should run things. It makes me frustrated that we wasted the best years of a lot of really talented players due to inept coaching. Very glad Saban is in charge now.

I just thought that every team went into the locker room and made adjustments, LOL

It just shows how bad the NFL coaching as a whole really is.

Yeah, I thought Wanny was the only one who didn't. Guess there are a few other geniuses out there as well. Haslett in NO doesn't suprise me. I don't see Mike Tice as an overly responsive coach either.

How can you be a coach and not talk to your players about strategy at half time? Could you imagine if USC didn't get coached at halftime? They would have fallen off a long time ago. Thank god Wanny is gone, look at him and Pittsburgh U.

How on earth did we ever win a game under Wanny????
It's a small miracle this team was able to achieve what they did with that numbskull.

Love the direction were headed!

We won IN SPITE of him... not BECAUSE of him. That's how we did it... LOL!

Yes, it's amazing to think that under Wanny the team just sat around at halftime...

...but on second thought, what was there to adjust? He only really ran one defense, and he didn't want the offense running many plays to begin with, let alone coming up with new ones.

Wanny's whole approach to coaching and pro football was about 30 years out of date.

yeah. when you hear the popular phrase, "there are no bad teams in the NFL," it should be followed with, "...there are only bad coaches."

Never played football but for basketball halftime was the best time to adjust personel to counteract them. That a pro team didnt adjust at half time is just sad. And you know if dave didnt do it jimmy probably didnt either. And same goes for Norv cause if he does it in oakland he would have tried to do it when he was here.
